Why are most people on here choosing the Westcott lift over the $45 Amazon spacers?

No idea. I have the Rough Country 1.75in kit and adjusted rear levers. I saw no need for Westcotts kit

That's exactly what I am wanting to do. What is your final center of wheel to fender heights? Does it have any rake?

I just put the Westcott front kit on my Platinum AVS this past weekend. The front struts are electronic which makes it a little more difficult because you have to deal with the connector and wire, and then you need a 19mm socket with a cut out for the wire coming from the strut. (I ended up making my own from an extra 19mm I had laying around because it was 10pm) Similar to a O2 sensor socket. I haven’t seen anyone post a video or pics on this process yet so it took me a while to figure out. This is what I'm doing next week. I'm going to do the front portion, TRD rear shocks, and have the rear airbags adjusted. If there is an error code I'll work with them to have it deactivated.

Looks amazing. Why did you choose the Westcott kit over just Amazon or Rough Country spacers? Did you get the FRONT ONLY kit or the front and rear? Are those Toyos 35X11.5R20?

I guess I liked the idea of splitting the height between the spring and the spacer. The front does get a bit tighter though because of the spring being more compressed. Looking back, it would have been much easier to just do the spacer because I wouldn’t have had to deal with the top hat nut with the wire.

Tires are Open Country AT3 35x11.5R17

I am getting ready to install 35's on my 1794 with Avs/air suspension on Monday. I am also using stock wheel trd off road +50 offset and will be using the westcott pre load kit. I heard that with westcott level kit and 10mm shim (no spacer needed) 35's clear and have 1/4"-1/2" poke. Nitto ridge grapplers 35 x 12.5 x 20.

I can let you know next week.

So I have mine in at the dealership getting the trd lift. My hope was to adjust the airbags like seem on this thread. They're telling me that when they do the adjustment, as mentioned in the first page, it only gains 0.75-1.00". What are they missing? I sent them the link to this thread and I can't get there right now so looking for some ideas. I appreciate any ideas.

@Yota2121 mentions 2". Do I need the afe arms to get it higher. I'm worried I'm gonna have the Carolina squat with TRD in the front and only an 1" in the back.

I was told the dealer TRD lift isn't available yet. Can you tell me exactly what you get from it and the ball park cost?

It's available. Toyota's website was wrong. There are plenty of people getting them installed now. I'm not sure the cost because I haven't paid for it yet

How come the afe arms are so much cheaper than the westcott arms?

The afe ones will allow it to go higher that’s the same thing westcott uses but their brand

Forgive me in advance as I've had a truck for years and years, but never done any lifting or leveling.

I will get my 2023 1794 5.5' bed with AVS in a few loooooong months . My plan is to first see how high I can get the rear with the stock arms and check the rake. Then I plan to get a 1.75" front leveling kit on it. Hopefully those two things will be high enough for me, but will still have a slight rake as I don't want the front to look like it's higher than the rear. If the rear isn't high enough then I will go with the are arm for even more height.

If anyone has done this, do you have any pics?

You’ll have to get the after market arms or your front end will be a little higher then the rear.

How did it turn out? I have a Platinum coming in and will be putting the Westcott kit on mine and hope to go to 35s. Any modifications you have to make to avoid any rubbing/issues? Thanks.

But isn't the 1.75" just a leveling kit, meaning that it is meant to make it level with the rear?

Most leveling kits raise the rear regardless. But the 1.75 will make it higher in the front without adjusting the rear air ride

Ah ok. Yeah I'm talking about the rough country leveling kit. It is only the front. I plan to adjust the rear arms, and if it's not high enough I will get the afe arms for the rear.

I’m running the afe arms on mine I feel like the stick arms it was still a tad bit high in the front but with the afe arms it looks perfect

That looks great! What is your rake like and how much above stick did you get? I will be doing the same thing when I get my 1794.

Got under the truck for a quick peak tonight after finding this post and sure enough, the stock setting on the lift adjustment arms are set mid-way. Going to push them all the way up and report back. Pumped! I was sooo bummed to find out the truck "resets" itself to N from HI once your moving over 18 MPH.. NO MORE!

On flat ground it is completely level in the neutral position because that’s where it rides while driving. I’d say about 2 inches taller then stock but I also have 35s so it sits about 4.5-5 inches taller then stock. I would suggest buying afe rear avs adjustment levers

Yeah it’s annoying but if you want even higher go with afe avs levers you can get a lot of adjustability
