You're a young man OP. Lots of women out there.

Finding passion in one's life can be a challenge. Once you find it you'll attract the right people.

The "it" shouldn't be another person IMO.

He needs to realize the cycle he has got himself into or he is yet to repeat it with someone else.

I haven't gone on a rant in a while, so here it is:

Here it is:
The best thing you can do is to move on, and live ALONE on your own until you realize and understand what is most important in your life.
What is most important in your life, is YOU.
Your physical and mental health needs to be your top priorities at this stage in your life.
No wife or kids depend on you, you need to focus on YOU.

You and she seem to be stuck in a codependent relationship and you think you can fix or help her, or she thinks that of you, or both.
Going back and forth, together, not together, together, not together.
You are in an unhealthy relationship so end it.
The cycle will continue as long as you feed into it.
This relationship will not change, it was doomed from the start with a 30-year age difference with you being 28.

But you have to realize she isn't the only problem.
You feed into this drama, continuing it to be part of your life.
Otherwise, you would have ended it already.
I've been there and done that, more than once, maybe you can learn from my mistakes.

Leave her alone, move on, get some counseling, and live your life for yourself, not for anyone else.
If she calls you don't answer, block her number, block her texts, block her emails.
End it and move on.

Nothing wrong with being alone for a while, you don't need others to fulfill happiness in your life.
Go to work, go to the gym, do things you want to do, learn to cook, and be self-sufficient.
You need to realize that you are number 1 in your life and you need to do what is best for #1.
Does that sound selfish?
No, not when we're talking about your mental health, and that is what we are talking about.

As soon as you are happy alone, venture out and perhaps find another mate.
Just don't repeat past mistakes of other unhealthy relationships and get into another, then another, then another.

Once you get off this cycle of unhealthy relationships and realize why you were in them in the first place, you'll wonder why you wasted so much time being in one.
You're only 28, don't waste any more of your years being unhappy.
Get yourself right, get some counseling, and understand why you seek this behavior.
Once you find these answers and correct your behavior, you won't put up with it anymore...

I finally got to the point where I realized if there was a woman I was attracted to, she was either an awesome person or a basket case of issues, there was no in-between.
Unfortunately too many times I chose the basket full of issues and had 3-year relationships with them.
When the last one ended, I worked on myself, enriching my relationship with my then-young kids, and made a better life.
I then met my current wife of 15 years and life is good.

I guess you're posting here because you either don't have anyone to talk to or THINK that you don't, so be grateful to those offering help and ignore the bad. And BTW, you do have someone to talk to, everyone does, you just gotta open up. Being vulnerable doesn't make you less in any shape or form.

 

From a female perspective she sounds like a narcissistic muppet who is using you. Do yourself a favor and stop going back to her or letting her back into your life. Not healthy.
Especially at both of your ages, going off until the buttcrack of dawn knowing you have to work with no sleep is inconsiderate highschool bs. Run away, take time to take care of yourself, work on your truck, adopt a dog, etc. ANYTHING else.

In all seriousness, i have no advice other than if you feel depressed please talk to someone IRL. We all have to/need to care for our own mental health. If you don't know mental health services in your area you can dial 988 and inquire about services plus you have someone to talk to. I've seen too many seemingly benign circumstances turn into terrible situations. my two cents.

There, I fixed your typo for you. You pursue her blindly to your own detriment. You come to an internet forum for advice, presumably because she's so toxic the consequences would be severe if she ever found out you had these concerns, and you don't think she'll ever see this. But then, instead of considering advice being offered, you'd rather scold us for not poring through all of your tiktok content. You are too focused on her to see anything else clearly. She's giving you the chance right now to get some space from her. Take it, and use it to re-orient your life.
