    I have had an issue with nearly every single order I've placed with RT for as long as I can remember. I never learn, but this last one is the nail for me. I ordered the new EGR in channel side window deflectors. I ordered the regular smoke, but matted finish came (was delivered to wrong address as well). Not that I should have been surprised based on all my other interactions with them, but it was "so sorry this happened. Someone will reach out in 3-5 business days to let you know what to do next." I have never dealt with a a reputable business that didn't immediately reorder the item in question to have the issue corrected on the spot, then handle the return stuff. No offer of "how can we make this right," nothing but "sorry, we'll get back to you when it's uber convenient for us." Between this and the dishonest bullshit they pulled with selling retrax covers before they were even being made and saying "ships in 2-3 business days." Too many other companies that deserve my money.

    So it's not just me?
    I received my ERGs 2 days ago as well, and the same story here. I thought the factory messed up as the box looked unopened, and had the correct part/model number stickers on it, but inside the also had "matte" black visors in it.
    Never dealt with RT before, so I had no reason to suspect "incompetence on their side."

    I assume we wait (who knows how long) to receive the correct item(s)?

    I have an $800 T-rex grille that I bought through them. Had some installation issues and they basically said it's not their problem. T-Rex said "shim Or bend the brackets" to make it work. Nope! Now it sits in the garage as a paperweight.

    That's absolutely ridiculous. I've noticed a trend of them absolving themselves of any issues related to what they sell because they are essentially a middleman. They sure as hell don't mind taking the money as a middleman, then telling you to kick rocks and deal with the manufacturer/supplier when there is an issue. It's a joke of a way to run a business.

    That's too bad; I hate to hear it. I have had great success with them the past few months. They really went out of their way to resolve some tonneau cover issues for me. I guess it's luck of the draw who answers the phone.

    What's weird is that the part number EGG-575405 is listed on RT as smoked model, yet on Summit it's the matte black.
    To add insult to injury, ERG itself does not have a listing/page for 2022 Tundra visors anywhere on their site, as I can find.
    Get your sh** together ppl...

    If RT sends me the correct replacement visors, and if they tell me to keep/dispose of the matte blacks I already received - I'll send them to you, free of charge. Only pay actual shipping+PP fee. If you're interested.

    The cust supp rep didn't know yet what they will do in regards of sending them back or letting me keep them. I'll have no use for them once (if?) I receive the smoked visors, so I'll give these away....if in fact I get to keep the spoils of war/mistake.

    I received matte, I ordered the smoke. They said they won't even send me a replacement order until the return stuff is resolved....which won't even start until "3-5 business days" when a rep gets back to me on the process.

    Not entirely true. I k ow they have their own in house stuff, but most of the brand name things they sell aren't RT products. RT has a whole list of the manufacturers they sell for and lists the point of contact for everyone of them for matters of quality/warranty stuff. Says contact the manufacturer, not them. 99% of the things I've purchased on RT have shipped form the actual product company. For instance, my EGR deflectors shipped directly from EGR, hence RT being the middleman

    Try Weathertech! I’ve outfitted two different Tundras over the years with their mats as well as in channel window deflectors. Have never had a problem with them.

    I've only used weathertech for mats and deflectors until now. And that's only because WT for some stupid ass reason hasn't released their in channel deflectors for the 2022 despite the truck being on the road almost a year.

    I've had both ERG and WT - prefer EGR for visors, and Husky for floor liners, at this point over WT.
    But, like someone above said already, if WT had a product out for 2022s we/ppl would already have them installed.

    Good on EGR for being first to the punch, but kind a weak reflection of their product/name with retailers/reselleler(s) limited to what we see...and especially judged by their "performance."

    I only went with RT b/c that's the only place that seemed to have them available for sale and shipment first....and they did....just too bad that at least 2 of us got incorrect models.

    Good morning. I am sorry to hear you're having issues with our company. As evident by your poor experience thus far, support after the sale is arguably the most important factor between a positive and negative consumer journey. Reading through your comments, it's clear some of these incidents have fallen through the cracks. While I could certainly discuss the volume challenges their team is facing, it's irrelevant to this conversation and I want to focus on resolution. Would you mind posting or pm'ing me your order number and/or email address? I will coordinate with a customer service supervisor and escalate the return / exchange. At the end of the day, I agree with you that 3 -5 days for next steps is excessive. I'll take full responsibility and work to ensure this is resolved as quickly as possible. To address the Retrax, from what my team told me, that was an error with the lead time on our site. It was on our end and was not intentional. Our website lead times are based upon part averages. If the bulk of items ship within 1-3 days, but a new product with a longer lead time goes live, the lead time will not

    Additionally, I'm reaching out to our account rep at EGR for clarification between the two part numbers. From the quick review I did of the source data, the part numbers are listed on the site correctly. However, if there's an error in our data or EGR's I want to ensure it's corrected on the site and immediately updated to prevent future orders from being shipped incorrectly.

    This is why I wanted to reach out to our account rep at EGR. One item is probably just a mis-shipment, but multiple incorrect orders is a trend. Would you mind please pm'ing your order number and/or email address? Similarly, I will make sure this is taken care of.

    I know we spoke via PM, however we are limited on your order. It was received on the 15th of March and the first contact I have personally from you is last week. We have a pretty lenient return policy and it's from 30 days once received (not the date of order). If you purchase a product from us and it doesn't fit, just reach out and we will get it returned or exchanged, contingent it's within the return policy.

    The overwhelming majority of problems we attempt to handle in house. The only exceptions to this are orders over 30 days from date of receiving or more technical installation questions where we simply don't have the knowledge to adequately address the request. So if you ordered a tonneau cover with my team and had issues with installation after receiving it, give us a call! I'll get you in touch with my tech team and they should be able to provide some helpful tips towards a proper installation. However, if it's wiring for a new headlight we just started selling, we will likely ask you call the manufacturer. The intention behind this is by no means to tell our customers to, "kick rocks," but instead provide them the best resource to solve their problem. I can intelligently speak to many tonneau cover and running board installations. However, I would be lost if you asked about the intricacies of a hydraulic snow plow.

    We do have a split business model as mentioned. We retail the majority of the Truck Hero brands, but we also support leading manufacturers as well. We also have three warehouses, housing 8 figures in inventory. But due to the product catalog, it's not feasible to stock every single item and we rely on manufacturers to drop ship items we don't stock. If there's an issue with the shipment, as it appears there has been with the EGR Vent Visors, that's our responsibility to address and correct. You are our customer, not the manufactures. So I will work to get this corrected.

    It's because it's a brand new part. We get data sheets from the manufacturer upon release of new products. A lot of times, our team is quicker at getting the parts live. To reiterate though, I am reaching out to our rep to identify the discrepancy here. Once I have a solid answer, I'll update this thread and make sure our website lines up.

    Since we're telling stories, I'll add to the Real Truck (RT) experiences.

    Last summer I bought my RB20 running boards from RT. The box arrived at my house in a state that I have never seen in a shipping box before. Completely shredded, ripped apart, open, etc. Not a huge surprise given the size and weight. When I opened everything up, the boards were pretty beat up. The corners were crunched in, scratched/flaked powder coat, cracked welds, and scuffed up. I immediately called RT to share my gripes and they were actually very receptive. RT asked my to send some pictures to their customer service email, easy enough. After 24 hours I had a brand new set of running boards being shipped to my house. They told me to dispose of the first set however I see fit. I'd imagine that the shipping was too expensive to send them back. My experience was very professional and quick. I figured I'd share my experience to add to the pool of data!

    Sorry to hear about the OP and others on the poor customer service!
