dish soap leaked onto my carpeted floor board..

    some stupid dish soap leaked onto my carpeted floor board while i was coming back home from the grocery store.
    any suggestions/advice to prevent damages and unwanted odors??

    Vinegar and Castile soap scrub, coat with baking soda. Vacuum following day

    what mixture is suggested for the vinegar/castile soap??

    Dish soap like dawn? Just wash it out with water and let it dry
