What handles are you getting? The tangs look so good I'd be tempted to go with clear acrylic. But then again, the handles he makes are also really good.
I just used both of mine to prepare some zucchini and bell peppers for the grill.

No, the knife is there for scale so you can see how big that Hungarian goat horn pepper is!

I really dig it. It has hardly left my pocket since it arrived. Definitely on the larger side for EDC.

Nice! Some dropped online yesterday but I held off since I’ve spent way too much on knives the last few months. They were also tanto which I’m not in love with.

I like the larger ones. The Benchmade Crooked River has a 4” blade and I love mine.

Hey, I resemble that remark. I stumbled on this one on a surprise drop from Knife Art. It was what I was looking for so I jumped. I had ordered the exact same from CRK about 16 months ago and should come into production in the next few months. I won't need two of the same variant, so if you think you will be interested, let me know and I'll sell it to you at table $. The tanto version is fine, but the drop point on the 'Zaan just fits my eye.

I went from zero Sebenzas to three in the last few months, with a fourth that will be here in a couple of days. Only one of which am I even carrying or going to carry. I’d also like an Inkosi Insigo……but like I said that’s way too much cash on knives recently.

    That said, maybe.

So, here’s a little more detail.
Mama lills peppers are made and sold here in Oregon. We were introduced to them a couple years ago and really love em. Good for lots of stuff and the oil they’re packed in is useful also. I use it to make salad dressings among other things.
Anyway, last fall we ordered the seeds for the Hungarian goat horns and grew them this summer. My goal is to replicate mamma lills.
FYI, they are a type of cayenne, which we usually grow every year. This year we are also growing pimento and 2 paprikas in addition to the standard chilies.

Managed to complete this 2 knife set today. I was able to get both knife handle sets out of the same piece of stabilized African mahogany.C0417E03-C3D5-469F-AF53-09AE9B399A5D.jpg54DC2C16-7B2A-42E0-95FB-3217A60E6621.jpg6332F4D8-376B-4474-BBFD-E6ECF4B0AC32.jpg

Welcome to the knife thread. There’s a pretty good group of collectors here.

Ha it’s the closet in my gun room. Pretty good sized. That’s part of it, the other side has the katanas & swords. The real boo ya is the gun collection but I’m too nervous to post any of that online. This is already way above my normalness of sharing personal things, but I’m trying.

Thank you and thanks for your son’s service as well!! I do NOT miss riding in the military Humvees!! Road in a civilian version years ago and like night and day of course. Military don’t care about no comfort! How did a good ole Louisiana baw end up in Oregon if you don’t mind me asking? Don’t have to be specific in details as trust me I am usually VERY private. Sorry on the request to do individual knife reviews, that’s just not me. I will sound like an idiot, well some may say I do anyway…..nice chatting with ya…..:hattip:
