So since their natural gas has been cut off, electricity rates are going up. Who woulda thought?

They are of Europe’s for sure. They are just flairing it off as a F-you. And the delivery lines are “undergoing maintenance” after previously reducing delivery to 20%. Wonder if that is going to drive our prices up due to less on the open market all together or if other production will make up for it over here?

ponder >>> how much ICE HP it takes to beat a Plaid.

    I reckon ~1500hp on slicks. non-streetable car.

what streetable car can beat it?

I don’t want to derail this but does anyone here or on Tundras.com own a 21 or newer Model Y? I have a couple of questions I want to ask about the side windows. Really appreciate the help

    Sorry. I worded that wrong

It being true is the hilarious part

    environmentalist are a not-smart group

Ex. Houston. When you work down energy row you park is multi floored garages

most folks park on the street or in lots. None of which could not remotely support EV charging

these are not equipped for charging

the infrastructure costs to convert would be born by the public. Free market does not see the need or want it yet

    am I quoting myself? Sorry

now I’m lathered up the more I think about this

so, all these folks need to charge in daytime. Most will be at work.

We know Tesla charges 3x for charging vs home rates. Those smaller machines charge more sometimes

so all these ev folks are going to triple the charge cost just to eat solar juice?

how about turn on the nat gas generators. Or build nuclear

the hidden words in that article are “pay more for green energy “

    Id rather charge at home.

I’d rather my home not be in California

And I’m not impressed that the geniuses at Stanford worked so hard to come up with such a lopsided opinion. It was flawed from the onset.

I ordered a MY in March and I finally got my VIN Friday. Trying to decide if I should try to delay my order until 2023 for any tax rebates.

My lower price is still locked in thankfully. Rep says I can delay it and go back in the queue but there’s a chance I get assigned another VIN by the end of the year since production has ramped up. I’m in Alaska so that’s a positive in terms of likely not getting a VIN before others.

It comes down to wanting it now or waiting a few months and hopefully get that $7,500 tax credit.
