    Toyota says 35/36.

Curious what your numbers are when you get a chance to tow with it.

This was during a long road trip. My guess is that it will get around 18mpg when towing. It's similar to a Highlander Hybrid and people have been towing with those. It's all physics and my guess is that they are at a technology plateau when it comes to hauling heavy stuff... Otherwise the commerical big rigs would be using it.

Yes it's very tiring. Lol. My dad was OCD about cars too, I learned to chill out more cause I saw how stressful it was.

Anyways I just learned that the Chevy Silverados has a very high tech 2.7L 4 banger engine that is reported to get around 25mpg and makes 400ft/lb torque...The aluminum block has direct injection, cylinder deactivation, variable valve timing, twin scroll turbo, etc.

Sounds cool but my coworker's brand new Chevy Colorado has been in the dealership more times in the first year than my 20 year old 4runner has been in it's lifetime. Same thing with the Ecoboost guy....That said, I'm definitely not buying a Tundra where you have to lift the cab up to replace the turbos.
