TRD lettering?

Why do some tundra's have the red lettering of TRD in front grill and others like mine are black and blend in with the grill.
Does somebody sell the sticker inserts for grill?

 

I also used tvd vinyl for my tail gate and front TRD, fast shipping, good price, easy installation.

 

I got the tailgate inserts for mine from Tufskinz.com and they were great. They are 3D type and fit right into the recessed factory tailgate letters. Quality product.

 

I did exact same as @Troyboy84 with TVD Vinyl stickers.

 

I recently added the Tufskinz grill lettering insert. I like that it's 3 dimensional and fills up the inset nicely. They are fairly solid when you pull them off the backer. Seems like it was much easier to do a clean install on these instead of trying to line up vinyl perfectly.

 

Has anyone done tufskinz in the tailgate and could post a picture?

 

I'm so glad you posted this. I've been wondering the same. I had no idea about Tufskinz site and now I'm looking at a sports of options and combos.

 

I also got the door sill protectors from Tufskins. Really happy with them also.

 

Definitely agree with the quality of Tufskinz.

 

I like the Texas flag dial badge! It's great to see a real-world pic.
For the tray foam... Did you do Option 1 or Option 2? The descriptions on the site give me tiredhead.

What's the story behind the tri-color badge? Is that a Tufskinz logo or a Tundra logo?

 

I chose option 1 for my SR5. I think some of the higher models have an extra cover on top of one of the trays.
The tri-color is historical for Toyota Racing.
