The sound system in my 2020 Limited absolutely sucks. All treble and mid range, no bass at all. Do you guys replace the head and speakers? What brand is the best?

Best off to just replace all of it. You have the JBL system? That kinda adds a headache to the mix if you want to try to keep the factory head unit, so best to just plan on: Headunit, 5 ch amp, 2 sets of components, and a sub

"best brand" is a little subjective, it really depends on your budget.

Too many mods to list right now for both Tundra
Check out my tunes I already had the jbl with upgraded amplifier and lc7 with upgraded bass. Never satisfied with even after I updated the headunit.

You’ll be extra happy with a new head unit, and full upgrade components. 3 way components up front and 2 way components in the rear plus a good subwoofer will sound just right.

Have a look at my sound system in the link.

Local car stereo guy says most Tundra owners are happy with new speakers and a pre-amp under the dash, leaving the factory head unit in. Has anyone tried this? It's definitely a budget option but the salesman says no worry we'll just add the head unit if youre not happy.
