I see so many out there ranging from $350-1500. The dealer was supposed to install predator steps when the truck came in but I guess they’re backordered. What brand has the nicest fit and finish?

I really like the Go Rhino steps that I put on mine. I went with the slimmer model which I believe is the RB10 vs the RB 20. I paid $410 for these.

I have the TRD cast aluminum ones and I actually think they look decent. I hate steps but my wife can't get in without them. The TRD ones are expensive but are dead simple to install and seem pretty sturdy.

If you are considering anything over $600-800....make sure they are sliders.

Don't pay $1000 for nerf bars or steps that are held in place with 40 pieces and brackets that attach to the body.

I'm going to be about $800 for Go Rhino RB20. The brackets are on backorder and the dealer has no idea when they'll coming. Any suggestions on sliders that act like steps as well for a '22 here in Canada?

$800 Canadian isn't bad in my eyes, but $800 usd, you are in slider range.

If you want details on my RCI order to Canada, send me a PM. They were around $1800 after all said and done, taxes, exchange, duty, shipping. But I'm hoping they are one and done.

Mine were for the 2019, but I think prices should be similar, once makers get off their hands and start manufacturing them

Do what I did, pay the Canada tax, and order something reputable from the US. It sucks but if you want something that performs that is most likely what you will have to do. Shipping and duties will be similar to the mark-up they put on anything up here and you'll have your choice versus the limited selection of junk that ships within Canada.

Hey Outboard, can you get the RB 20 boards without brackets? If so I might have a deal for you. My RB 10’s came with 2 extra sets of brackets. I wonder if they are the same. These brackets are different lengths.

That's alot more than I want to spend. I'm not planning to seriously offroad this truck, so sliders are more of a want than a need. I wasn't happy about spending $800 on running boards to begin with.

Yeah, I tend to order out of the US for alot of things due to lack of selection and gouging practices here in Canuckistan.

Appreciate it but I had to order the RB20 with brackets. :(

are those the powder coat black ones? If so, how's the grip. I'm trying to decide between those and the bedliner. Bedliner ones look more grey in color I think.

Called AMP, said the aftermarket version for the 22 Tundra are in R&D and thought they would be available after the first of the year.

Yes, powder coat. The grip is solid but subtle. I like them.

from what i have seen posted and from reading posts, the go rhino brand is probably the most talked about 3rd party brand for steps/boards that look pretty good and are very functional.

i am going for the trd boards for my first choice, but if they dont come with the truck, i will probably go with the Rb20's for function over form.

I went with NFAB EPYX side steps. I think they fit the body lines of the truck really well.
