I was in the market to buy my very first brand new Toyota Tundra pickup truck a few months ago. I searched auto trader and zero new trucks came up in my search results. I later found out Toyota did not have a v8, that’s why my search was not producing. I debated a few months and ended up with a new Chevy 2500hd.

If you’re looking for new Tundras on Autotrader, you probably haven’t kept up on the state of new car sales post-COVID. You won’t find a brand new one on Autotrader, you’ve gotta go to the dealership, fork over some cash for a deposit, and wait 6-12 months.

And give it a few years and nobody will, there won’t be anymore V8’s no matter which brand you choose.

Hope my response people can tell I was being sarcastic. I don’t care one way or the other what someone else drives as long as it is what they want and they enjoy it more power to ya. However, I too also enjoy the funny responses. Levity is a great communication tool…..:p

You should buy one if you like them.

I won't or can't drive electric sports cars no matter how fast!
A lame and cheap commuter maybe. I would drive it at night so my friends don't see me and laugh!

Haha, not a troll, I also drive an 01 tundra. There were multiple v6 options that popped up as I was searching, even if not actually available they were still listed.

People enjoy v8's too much, they want you bored of your transportation appliance so you'll buy a new one every time they change the color options.

You will be able to get an ugly Mustang with a V8 in 2024, though.

Support for firefighters. Blue is for LEOs. Green for military. Can't remember the others.

There was a recent climate scientists report that CO2 is actually very good for plants (surprise!). With all that extra CO2 emitted into the air by humanity, the biomass started to grow in a much faster pace than it used to. Also they said their climate models failed, and the global warming does not wind up as bad as their predicted. They admit humans still know little about how the climate works. Also historically the Earth was a much hotter place than the humanity observed in past few centuries, thanks to the Little Ice Age that has ended less than 200 years ago.

So we may see a return of reliable V8 yet ;) Count (and tax) carbon footprint for the new production and you'll be surprised a long lasting, reliable gas engine is not that eco-unfriendly. Changing cars every couple of years (because they don't last past warranty) is madness.

I support all 3. Wonder if you can get 3 lines? Heck I don’t even see how to add one. Out of a Group of 3 best friends, one is a fireman, other is police and I’m military. I’m jealous of my police bestie as he just got promoted to detective now he gets to wear civilian cloths and has a pretty sweet unmarked vehicle you wouldn’t think was a police car. Anyway, thanks. Guess I can contact an admin person to see how to add a line. If you’re active FD, be safe out there my friend!!

For the last 21 years the tundra had a v8. Sorry I don’t keep up with everything every manufacturer is doing.
Ended up with a 2023 2500hd high country gas truck
