I took the odometer from 4 to 47. Only 953 miles to go before break in is DONE!

You guys are doing that "break in" shit? I just didn't floor it for the first 200 KMs. I've been sending it since!

Blacked out my front emblem with plasti-dip today. I think it turned out great.

Nice! That’s what I initially did too for
I really wanted the Lunar Rock color but didn’t have the patience to wait and every time I see one I am a little jealous. Btw, you will love the pedal commander and jb4 combo!! Before I added the lift and larger tires, I had it always set at Sport+ #2 and map5 and she felt like a different truck. After the lift had to move the settings to Sport+ #4 and left at map5. That jb4 wakes the truck up and you will notice the extra hp!! Obviously not a TRX killer by any means, but I am still surprised on the quickness of these 2022 Tundras. Enjoy and thanks for reminding me of my impatience…..o_O

Weather tech mats - dun. The fit is decent: front spot on. I think the rear is a hair large but should settle in with a few hot days.

I picked up the weather techs for mine, fits decent, waiting for Husky to start making sets for the 22s, they normally have a better fit.

I have Huskys in my 2014 and agree the fit is probably better.

    Thanks @FREEDOMcomesatacost

Lol, I have it on City +2 and it’s makes drivability hella better. Freedom, could you tell me how much of a difference the JB4 made and if you don’t mind letting me know how your 0-60 time improved. Your Tundra is beyond cool btw! Wasn’t a fan of the Red until I saw your setup!

Someone else already asked me about the specific times for the 0-60 and quarter mile for mine in another thread, but I got to keep you younger guys in the dark about some stuff!! Blahahahahahahahaha….in all honesty it dropped almost a full second for both, but that’s before the huge lift and tires. I just did that recently and haven’t tested it again since, but I know a 6” lift and 37” tires aren’t conducive for going faster…..guess I went a little backwards with those additions. Trust me it’s the best $450 I spent on her so far!! You will feel the difference with the jb4. However, I will 100% be a buyer of the first legit/good upgraded dual turbo kits. Hopefully one of the good manufactures will be like me and want to know how much power can we actually add onto these 2022’s before blowing the block/trans/rear end. If anyone of you manufacturers/shops/etc are out there reading this forum and this post hit me up I will loan my truck out to you for testing and will sign whatever legal docs needed to waive liability. Mo power>worries about something breaking. Whatever gets broke can always get fixed even better right? :headbang:

why would I need to lie on an anonymous forum? If so I could say yea my baby runs 5 second 0-60. Nope. Pics attached of the dragy device app and jb4 app below. So I have them why couldn’t I get the times? I have ran it many times before the lift and larger tires. You want my yearly salary and SSN too? Why do people worry so much about what someone posts or why they won’t say this or that. It’s a decision for that person. I’ll still invite you to the family bbq, cause I’m nice like that….:bananadance:

Looks fantastic. Does the tuner and pedal commander really change how the truck drives that much?

Looks like you’re asking DMac808 this question, but he hadn’t purchased the jb4 yet and was asking me about it. So I will answer for me and me only, but yes the PC & JB4 woke my 2022 up especially set at the highest levels for each. There is another thread on here for the tunes you should check out. My experience is jb4 on map5 (highest setting right now) using e30+ fuel mix (i use 93 octane and e85 mix) I 100% can feel the difference. Also the customer service with Burger tuning is top notch and they will help you with anything dealing with their products. I usually deal with Terry (Burger, the owner) or his over the top knowledgeable tech guy Payam (my man!!). I don’t work for them and get nothing from them other than what I purchase myself, but have not run across real genuine people like them in their industry in a long time. You won’t be disappointed in the PC & JB4 combo.

I was debating on getting these, but have been holding out for the open cold air kits from Burger. I always liked the opened ones better due to the sound but since these new trucks are v6’s may not make that much difference. I’m sure you ran it already. So any sound difference? What you think about them?

One of the complaints I have heard is the visibility out the front windshield comparing 2.5 to the 3 gen. Looks to me with them side by side, the 22 has taller windshield and sloping hood should be more visibility.

Interesting. I haven't heard it before. But right when I left the dealer I stopped at a red light and felt that I could not see the overhead light without leaning forward. Never really had to do it with the old truck.

But what I find difficult to get used to, is the big crease in the hood. It sits at a weird diagonal angle that's right in your face.

Hope the little one is feeling better today. I miss those days when my kids were younger and needed my help more. Enjoy these times as I am sure you have heard many times, they grow up so fast! All mine grown except last son about to graduate high school and either off to college or military. Dreading that…..

I used a heat gun to soften things up for the initial chromed plastic removal, then floss which wasn't really that helpful, followed up by heat, finger nails, and Goo Gone. Rubbing alcohol worked better than Goo Gone on the TRD-OR sticker residue. I also used (what I thought was) a soft plastic scrapper - turned out not to be so soft after all, so Chemical Guys V34, V36 and V38 polishing compounds were used after everything was removed.
