So yesterday I went to grill burgers. Now normally on the bottom of my grill cart I keep some grilling tools esp a grate brush. So yesterday I went to grab the brush and it was gone. Wth I thought. I looked everywhere could not find it. Not in the house. Not in the shed. No where. Oh well and move on.
Now it still bugged me a little so I looked again today and found nothing. Then I noticed this
A paw print on the side of the cover of my smoker. Ahhhhhh ya you little masked bandit.
So my thought is a raccoon was snooping around and took off with the grate brush lol
It's the only solution I can come up with.

I have those kind of thieves in my sweet corn patch. Caught two in live traps so far.

Years ago, my mother had me on a stool in our living room giving me a buzz cut. I was looking out our bay window and saw this "cat".

I said "mom, look at that cool looking cat!"

Mind you, we live in the boonies so there arent any stray cats running around and it was the middle of the day. About 3 minutes later my dad put a .22 in its head from the front porch. Little did I know, it was a rabid coon. Not a "cool looking cat" ha

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
We just had a skunk running around our backyard in the broad daylight a few weeks ago. We had to put it down as we suspect it had rabies by the way it was acting (rubbing its head into the concrete and convulsing in random seizures).

Crossbow bolt was humane as it could get for that guy.

A few years ago at my wife and i's first house, we lived right near the forests and there were plenty of stray cats out there coming around and terrorizing our cats. When I saw the "leader" one day, I went and got my 10-20. Went to send that cat to the litter box up in the sky. Doc interjected and screamed at me not to, scaring the cat away.
After a few minutes of trying to convince her it needed to be done, I finally promised not to kill it.
That very day, I went out and bought a CO2 soft pistol, didn't say a word to the doc. Sure enough, within the next 24 hours, here that sumbitch comes, strutting his stuff while we're out on the porch. I pull out my newly bought pistol and shoot that bastard right in the rear sphincter.
Wife got pissed and accused me of lying to her. Simply said "I promised I wouldn't kill it.....I said nothing of putting a be be up his ass"
The subject came up with her dad a few days later. He laughed and told her "there's one language that every species on this planet understands.....pain. You ain't gonna see that cat around again"
    Never saw him again. LOL

Now that the class 3 is no longer needed for a suppressor, I am going to get one. From what I can tell, they are not really that expensive, nor should they be...

Set out a owl decoy, or two. Owls and crows are enemies, they hate each other. We used to shoot crows and would use a recording of the two fighting. Crows would come in out of no where, bunches of them then it was blast blast time lol

Try to lure him in, they make great pets.

You may even convince him to reveal the whereabouts of the grate brush!

The crows in my area could carry off a small child. We have Barn Owls, and the crows like to raid their nests. f^&ing rats with wings.

I've gotta agree with the crow thing. Growing up in Santa Cruz, there weren't any. The last 10 yrs. or so, they've moved in in force. They'll drive species of birds out of the area or to extinction. When I saw them raiding the Oriole nests in my back yard, it was on. I bought pellet rifle with a scope and started protecting the Orioles. After killing a few, they'd fly away as soon as I came out. So, I got sneakier 'til they stopped coming to my house.
