Yes sir/ma’am! Definitely spent some money on mods from the stuff you can see (lights, decals, lift, tires, etc) to the stuff you can’t see (jb4, cat shield, Carista tool, interior items, etc) but I am still waiting on even more to add (dual cold air intakes, exhaust, Etc)(just waiting for someone to come out with these like Burger tuning supposed to have a dual cold air intake set up for the 2022 at end of this month, hint hint if anyone wants one). Like I have said before, customization is like a drug to some and that includes me!! Ultimately I would love if someone comes out with an upgraded larger dual turbo set up as I am all in when they do. We don’t know how much the new engine block/trans/rear ended can take, but a few of us are willing to find out.
In my many years on this planet I have learned a few things and here are some:

1–do what makes YOU happy
2–you can’t take it with you when you go so if you have money spend it
3–see #1

Obviously there are many other lessons learned but these apply here for now.

What’s crazy for me is the truck you got is the exact one I actually wanted but in Lunar Rock; however, back in March when I needed a new vehicle they could not guarantee me when of if they could get me the truck I wanted; thus, ended up getting the one I have now (2022 SR5 Crewmax in supersonic red) and the plan was the dealership was going to contact me when they got the one I wanted in and I would trade the one I got in for it. But after a month or so I started getting impatient and started adding mods until now it’s so modded up no one else would want as it’s customized for me specifically more or less. I will miss the TRD Pro extras that mine doesn’t have, but to tell you the truth I love what mine turned out to be. Maybe was just fate, regardless enjoy yours and you will see once that first mod goes on there will be no stopping you for the next one…..

 

It is definitely never ending. My other ride is a ‘21 S4 and that started with springs, wheels, & tires. Ended up with an E85 tune, intercooler, E85 gauge, exhaust and on…

I do love the 22 Tundra, but in all honestly it’s my 2nd fav vehicle as I also have a 1969 fully restored Bronco that I have spent waaaayyy too much on and yes for us car/truck nuts, it NEVER ENDS!!

 

Would love to hear your review of the adventure motors kit! Seems like several people on here are happy with it.

 

What size lift is this front and rear?

 

It is adjustable to 3.5" in the front and the rear would be based on the springs you choose. I am setting my fronts to just under 3" and going with the Dobinson 559 rear spring.

Were you able to take that picture yourself? My dream is record mine from the day it hits the dealership until I complete the last mod on my wish list.

I like your build list. I'm not planning to go so heavy on the suspension components on mine as she will mainly see pavement but I am definitely going with the CBI Covert bumper. Are you having a shop do the install or DIY?

 

TRUE whether or not it was directed at you. #1 and #2 are the reason I nearly bought a new Sequoia Capstone edition. Had to stay with a Tundra after realizing I couldn't live without a truck. The Capstone Tundra didn't have the same feel for me (nothing to really modify). I'm so impatient I'm buying parts before I have the truck.

 

I feel your pain/impatience as I did the exact same thing!! I had been waiting for a LR TRD PRO for months and several things on order before getting confirmation the truck was mine. Finally couldn’t wait any longer and just got the first Tundra the dealer got in month, just a regular SR5 crewmax with the intentions and plans with the dealer to trade in once the one I wanted finally came in but damn if I didn’t fall in the love with this one! Times like these must be so hard on salesmen!!

 

I work for the dealer group so one of our associates took it for me when it arrived.

 

I work for the dealer group that owns the Toyota store I got it from. I am having them do the install of everything because our associate labor rate is very reasonable.

 

I like to turn a wrench myself but if I had the connections you have I would definitely have them do it all.
