Must be getting close to having availability for this lift from Toyota‍♂️
The Toyota dealer parts department said they haven’t heard of when this product will become available for purchase. Looking maybe for someone with insider knowledge

Last update that I saw on the TRD Lift Kit was late Q3. It was originally supposed to be summer, but now it's looking like Sept.

Insider info. I’m a master tech and heard from last tundra training I went to. waiting for dealer to get the special service tool (sst) that’s a spring compressor for the front coils. Once the dealers get these then the kits will arrive and be able to be installed.

Any info if they’re making a kit for the Pro’s that they’d offer without the shocks?

I guess it’s also nice to know that they will be Toyota dealer installed.

A little while back I read speculation on here that they may be farmed out to Third Party installers…though now that I think of it Toyota may not want to take that chance if they are fully warranty-ing this thing.

Are we talking 2 different kits here?

Unless it’s me we seem to be discussing both the ICON Kit (posted pic/link) and the TRD Kits which I think was the original intent.

We are talking about the factory lift from Toyota.

Hopefully in the future they offer something for the Pro’s. They’re essentially allowing for a SR5 to be more off-road capable than their Pro model with this kit.

    Yes sorry…my fault there.

When I tried to download the file you posted the first time I somehow got to an Icon Stage 4 kit in another window that I didn’t realize I still had open.

    Please Ignore

    Still rolling stock baby....

Interesting that you lose the fog/driving lights when this kit is installed, due to the raised height of the vehicle and dot regs. Wonder if you could ask the dealer to leave them intact and not remove them.

Thanks for this great info. I've been waiting to see what sort of exclusions there may be. I may just be an idiot, but the punctuation they use makes it seem that the AVS and air suspension limitation is specific to TRD sport trucks that are 2wd. Anyone else read it this way?

    upload_2022-7-26_9-31-35.jpg

"TRD pro(comma) TRD sport vehicles equipped with(colon) 2WD(comma) active AVS shock absorbers(comma) air suspension(comma) 8.1ft bed etc. etc."

To me that says the only two trucks this won't fit on are TRD Pros and TRD Sports that are 2WD, have AVS and air suspension, and have the 8.1ft bed. The optimist in me hopes that's correct. However, the realist in me assumes they mean any truck with AVS/air suspension is exempt from this kit. But dang it, if that's the case then they need to work on their punctuation. I mean, I guess it would be correct either way, but everything after the colon reads like a list describing what came before the colon to me.

I have a Platinum 4WD with the AVS and air suspension and I was really, really hoping for a factory lift option. I guess I'll be going aftermarket after all.

Im pretty sure you can’t get AVS with TRD package.

I wouldn't say this kit makes an SR5 more capable than a PRO. The PROs shocks are far better than what this kit offers. This kit is basically 5100's that reuse the factory springs, spacers for the rear springs and a nice UCA. It looks like a well thought out kit with quality parts.

Ah yes. I read the instructions too quickly. It seems weird Toyota would have the techs spend time to disassemble the front coilovers just for the spring seat. It would be cheaper to just provide new parts.

Damn! I have the Limited with air suspension. Would love for this kit to work but it is sounding like a negative...

So I emailed Toyota Brand Engagement about the TRD lift kit but I failed to give them the part #. They checked my VIN# and said this: we have researched your VIN & determined there may not be a lift kit available for your Tundra. We recommend contacting your local Toyota dealer parts department for verification.
I will ask the dealership when I take it in for the recalls and report back for anyone that has the air suspension unless others know already.

It shows in the instructions. Air suspension conflicts with TRD lift kit.

Clearly but the way it’s worded seems to be the TRD Pro and the 2WD SR5 with those options are the conflicted trucks. Only due to the punctuation but I am no English major. Lol

The kit is available. Locally it’s 4000 but I called Sparks the other day and was quoted a way better price. I don’t have the part number here it’s on my desk.

Go to Toyota.com, click Shopping Tools, click Buy parts & Accessories, put in the part number and search, under the MSRP list dealers - put in your zip code to search local dealer and what your cost would be. Don't go to local dealer in person, as you won't get as good of a deal via online through same dealer.

Getting my kit installed at Romeoville Toyota in Illinois Tomorrow bought the kit for $3,684.39 with tax included. Labor is $1900 plus $89.99 alignment which I’m getting done at Firestone to get the Lifetime Alignment Warranty. He says there is nothing there in regards to removing the fog lights.

Wait, so is it $3684 + $1900? So like $5500 total? Or is labor included in that 3600?

Hopefully that's with install included. The kit's are going for $2300-2500 online from various dealers.

I hope so. I know this kit is more than just a set of shocks, but you could get a set of King's with UCA's and other goodies for a hair more.

First shipment didn’t come in to first dealer some kind of delay of some sort. Now ordered it from Elmhurst Toyota and they say it will arrive at the dealer tomorrow for pick up.

Elmhurst & Schaumburg had the kit listed for roughly $2500 before taxes, I'd ask if they'll price match

Toyota didn’t release it to my servicing dealer. Ordered it at Elmhurst Toyota for $2375 they say it should be in tomorrow let’s see. Now the first order has been refunded to me. Toyota HQ needs to get it together this is crazyBBDA4CCF-6154-4545-8A78-D2378B5FE425.jpg
