Yup. Wish I would have gotten the long compartment version vs the three compartments. But glad I got it either way.

Yea it really isn't hard. If I recall it has a template provided. Most difficult part for me was putting the seats back in.

I think I'm gonna tackle my esp tomorrow. It looks like it's as simple as cutting out the templet, laying it down under the seat, and cutting out the 3 squares. What kind of knife do yall recommend? Is a benchmade pocket knife overkill? Lol

If you have a cordless multi tool, use that. It is what I use and I can do them in a half hour.

This looks amazing. I didn’t realize there was a model with two lids but one long single box under them. That’s exactly what I’d prefer.

Unfortunately they’re prices are going up. Almost $850 before shipping and taxes. Having a hard time biting the bullet at that price.

I carry a Benchmade and would not recommend it -- only because I kept a diamond sharpener handy to keep me moving. The Benchmade is so difficult to keep sharp. I used a box cutter and a cheap heavy duty 4" tactical folder. That foam is tough! Start with fresh razor blades keep a stone handy.

Also, note the Kilmat in the photos. If you have cab noise, you might consider adding some sound control while you have the carpet out.

I used a 5" sliding snap blade razor knife. It worked great. Cut out the carpet first and "skinned" the padding off the back, cut out the foam, used the pad under the unit for sound and vibration deadening, carpet in the bottom of the boxes.

My long box has been in a couple years. Easily the best mod I’ve made to my truck.

Bought mine when they first came out I have the 3 compartment version...now I wish I would have waited but still functional nonetheless. This was years ago when prices were...normal.

it's been that price for over a year. We should be raising prices but aren't. We have been struggling all year but still haven't raised prices. Metal, fabrication, packaging, powdercoat, rent, electricity, fuel, everything is going up and have been since May of 2021 which is when we originally adjusted our prices. Every other manufacturer has been raising prices every quarter, but we have only had one price increase, yet we have had three price increases just from our metal fab company. It sucks, but what can you do? It's either raise prices to stay in business to continue providing quality products or just say screw it.

Fair enough. I certainly understand the position you’re in and I would never fault you for trying to keep up with rising costs everywhere. But that doesn’t make it any easier to buy from my vantage point…because prices are rising everywhere.

I’ll be down to SoCal as soon as I can justify the purchase to get it bought & installed at your shop. Great product. I just can’t bite the bullet yet on it.

I bought one of your products years ago. Only regret is I didn't wait longer to get the version with one large compartment instead of three. Super functional and worth the price to me. If someone is not happy about your price point then that means they should not be buying your product because they can't afford it or the value isn't there for them. I was bitching about how much those tailgate tables cost, not because I can't afford it but because I see it as a rectangular cutting board that anyone can cut up themselves. Didn't see the value in it, but others do see the value and buy it. Same principal with your gear, I would buy one right now if I didn't have one already because it's just so useful. Price increases are the new norm, you do what you must to stay in business and keep bringing new products to market, many don't understand what I takes to run a company.

resurrecting this ESP thread instead of starting a new one.

I bought the ESP bins but did not install yet.
Reason being I run with the seats up and like the flat surface for loading large items.
The Bins would be a problem when carying these items.
Has anyone come up with a cover for the bins to make the surface flat when loading large items. Something other than placing a piece of wood on top.
    thanks.

My 2018 came with under rear seat storage compartments. At the time I though all Tundras came with them. IMO, it should be standard on all Tundras.

So that one is one of our originals with the nylon hinges. That one is pretty old and will only fit up to 2019. Looks pretty beat up as well.

Even if they don't, I'm not gonna lie, that looks *incredibly* easy to duplicate if you already have the underseat storage bin like I do, I've been contemplating doing exactly that. 3x standard bin locks like you'd use for securing drawers and cabinets, $8/ea, 4-pack of Stainless Steel Continuous Hinge Heavy Duty Hinges for $20, 1/4" thick textured ABS Black Plastic Sheet 12" x 48” for $40. Under $100 with the necessary bolts. Tickiest part would be making the lids seat right if you're cutting freehand.

Edit: If you or someone else ends up wanting to try DIY'ing some lids and wants to provide the ABS sheet, I'll use my own ESP underseat storage as a template for you, and the laser I have access to, cut that.

Resurrecting this old thread. For those who have these installed, do you notice any rattling with either the 3-bin plastic or the long-bin metal versions? I did the Tech12Volts sub upgrade and am wondering if that sub will cause these to rattle or buzz.

No noise from my box. It’s the locking metal one. My sound system is just the simple factory one, so no idea there.

Metal long bin here , it fits in there so damn tight and the way it's bolted down under the seat brackets I think you would be ok .... but only have the factory system
