I have been looking for Cryo rotors for a couple months. Id really like the Centric Plain 120 Cryo rotors but they have been on backorder everywhere I have looked forever.

I think stoptech is made my Centric, and can order their slotted Cryo rotors and get them mid October. However, I am not sure I want slotted, thinking you may be able to feel those slots when braking. I just want smooth performance in a Cryo rotor that resists warping.

Any other alternatives for Cryo rotors in the 200ish price range?

For those with the stoptech slotted Cryo- can you feel the slots, are you happy with them?

I have the slotted Cryo StopTechs on mine. I can't feel the slots during braking. I have had them since Jan 2020.

    You can’t feel the slots.
Could you imagine the wear if the slots made a rub?
The pads wouldn’t last and you’d have overheating issues.

Been running Stoptech cryo since 2018.

Got my slotted cryo rotors from Dirty Deeds. Last I was in their website, they still were selling them.

For you guys that have the stop tech/centric cryo slotted rotors, are the slots in the pic the right direction? I know they are left and right specific but when I installed I thought I did it correctly but just want confirmation…the way they are now seems the water and dust would go inward towards the hub and not outward.

sorry OP for the hijack. But yeah when I upgraded to these with ebc yellow stuff pads made a world of difference vs stock.

Alcon makes big brake kits and I believe they sell cryo rotors separately. You can get slotted, drilled, or smooth.

Cryo rotors are not very good, i had them and warped them. Don’t get them . Buy wilwood rotors or disk brake austrailia. Call dba.i have them on the front and they are good

Reading that attachment it looks like you can run the slots either way if they are straight vaned.

yeah that’s what another guy on the fb group mentioned as well. Not sure whether they are curved or straight vaned, I’ll take a look.

Which brand? I know companies always come out with stuff that does work. Others do short cuts and they don’t work. Or it’s all snake oil.
