my dealer was able to get the TRD lift and had it installed. Here are some detailed pics of the installed components and lift.

Wheels are 35x12.5x17, 0 Offset. It solved some of my rubbing issues with my previous spacer levelling kit.

It rides smoother than the previous spacer lift. Waiting to take her off road.

    Before (Levelling Kit):

    After (TRD Suspension lift):

Looks great!!! What’s did the dealer charge and what kind of warranty did it come with?

They were pricey right at 2k and it was their first install, so I anticipated the higher price. It took them a couple days. I think the warranty is 3 yr/36k warranty for dealer installed kits.

So $2K for the install only?

How much was the kit of itself cost you before the install?

Also…I can see it’s higher but did you get a chance to do some measurements? Does it equal out to something line 3” up front and 1” in the back or something more/less?

That looks fantastic. I am excited to see this kit finally hitting the market. This will be first on list for major mods in the future. I am keeping mine stock for now…

I really like the factory lift. Its well put together and its oem.

It came out great and think this is the way I’m gonna go.

Yeah that's just for labor. It's pretty intensive. the kit retails for right around 4k. I've heard you can get it much cheaper through some dealers, but my dealer had one available and I jumped on it. I should have taken measurements but it completely slipped my mind. but they advertised roughly 2.6" of frame ground clearance

Do you have a link to the kit? I'm not able to find it online, but would like to see what's included.

Is there a way to tell if its actually in stock before I purchase? I spoke with the dealer and they are only charging $900 for the labor and alignment. They said it would take roughly 5-6 hours for the install.

Some dealers still show this as not available... weird that it's in some places but not others. However that seems to be the way of the world for these new Tundras.

That’s a steal as long as you’re getting the kit for the $2500 or so it’s available for. Looking at the directions there is almost no way that’s a 5 hour install.

Thats what I was thinking. I have a Westcott Designs 3/1 I was about to put on but if I can get the TRD kit installed for 3k$ then there is no reason to even bother with the Westcott Designs one.

Warning: this post contains a dumb question.

If I have the TRD off road package with the Bilstein shocks, do I still need this kit?

Well…technically it’s not a NEED at all if you don’t plan on going off-road much/at all and if your off-roading if barely packed gravel and forest roads. You can accomplish that doing nothing or a cheap spacer level.

If you want to do more “stuff” with your rig, a lift to clear those 35’s you might like, not worry about putting a kit together and relish in the fact you have a 3 year warranty then it might be more of a need or lift for you.

Yes, need is very subjective. I plan on doing this lift even though I don’t plan on doing any serious wheeling. Reason is I still want a nice suspension for ride comfort which seems like is sacrificed a bit with the spacer lifts.

Poor choice of words on my part. I really meant to ask if this kit was already part of the package that came with my truck.

Just got a notification that my TRD lift kit has shipped. Getting excited now. Glad I waited for the real deal given the noise around warranty issues and spacer lifts etc.

Is it shipping to the same dealer who is installing it or are you taking it to a separate dealer who is doing it for you?

I need to see if my local dealer will install if I pick it up from somewhere else since they can’t seem to order it just as yet?

Yes it is. Looks like the OP kept his. When I read the install steps for this kit the directions did say to remove the lights and install a filler plate.

Looks 10 times better on your rig than it did on the Toyota website renditions. Seems like they addressed a lot of the components that are usually affected by lifts/increased suspension travel, which is nice to see. If I owned a '22, I'd definitely go this route.

Lastly, quick question for you... In Toyota's rendition (head on pic), it almost looks like the truck has taken on the look of a GMC AT4. Pics of your truck don't seem quite as similar, but what do you think having seen it in person???

    Very nice OP!

I wonder how this kit compares to the TRD PRO suspension.

Ya know I looked this up at different locations in DFW and they all had different discounts and pricing. I’m sure you can find something closer to you. A few weeks ago I was going to pay 2,999 for it. Glad I waited.
