I need Help with a big decision... To lift OR not to?

    Ok, my 2010 Rock Warrior is in need of tires... I told myself when this time came, I would lift it (6"). But now, I'm in a jam. The old man in me says, just buy new tires and be done...(Nitto G2 305/70/17), but the irresponsible man child in me says, go lift!!! I'm on the fence here.
    On one hand, she has 96,000 miles on her, I don't want to chance blowing the steering rack, I wouldn't be able to keep my Rock Warrior wheels on (17's, but I really like them), and she's already leveled with a 2.5"/1" kit. Oh,and I tow a 21' boat at 40 miles a few times a month all summer long.
    On the other hand, I am a Rough Country dealer, so I can't beat the price, I'd get to pick out a sick set of 20's (and 35ish" tires)... and I want the friggin lift.
    I also own/operate a low/medium volume detailing business, and this is my company vehicle, so it's not my daily driver. Either way, I need new tires soon. Any advice would help

    I like the way it sits right now. How about a decent 3/1 coil overs setup with some 35"s ? better than leveled while keeping it not so lifted where you can run into a bunch of issues later down the road.

    If you really want 305/70's, all you'll need is a 3/1. I think that size of tire would look fairly small on a 6" lift.

    If any of you know me, you know my answer will be.............leave it. I love the tires that fill the wheel wells. Your truck looks great, and I'm sure drives great, as-is. Probably the best wheel Toyota ever produced is that RW wheel. Stay put with the suspension and throw on some new rubber.....

    Low trucks with big rubber rock !!!!

    If I did the lift, I'd be running 37x12.50's

    No, These are 295/70/17 Trail Grapplers on there now. The G2's have a more road manner to them... I'd probably run them again, if they were offered in the size I want to run. 305/70/17

    Thanks man, I think I'm goin to do the 3" lift struts from Rough Country, see how that works out.
