Not that I'm aware of. Only dealer installed add-on is the console vault.

Nope. I haven't had one installed.

Sometimes the dealer installs it before asking if you want it, and if you decline it, they never remove it and it’s just there. I’ve seen it a couple times before.

I doubt that's the case. This dealer doesn't install security systems, they outsource that type of work to one of the local install shops. They had the truck for less than 24 hours before I picked it up. They also aren't one of the dealers that installs random stuff then tries to charge extra, one of the reasons I use them. This really looks like something from the factory. I'm going to try to trace the wire this morning and I'll be bringing the truck to the dealer on my next days off to ask about it.

That comes from the factory here.

I tracer the wire which disappears into this bundle. It's grounded and seems to lead into the fuse box. There's a bunch of other wires which look half installed.

Can anyone else with a '22 look in your passenger front wheel well and under your hood to see if it looks like this?

Plan on putting out any other pics anytime soon? Each product only has a single view of the light.

I'm tentatively planning on new XL80 ditch lights, S2 fog replacements, and 20" S8 grille bar to match all my other BD lights that are being carried over from my Taco. But I'm kind of on the fence with the ditch lights; mainly because of security. I don't trust anybody.

Just imagine if Toyota made a 3500 Tundra with a DRW option. 6.6L gas hybrid v8 with 750 ft lb of torque with none of the DEF regen crap to deal with. I'd grab the first allocation that I could.

Man the version I have now with the 6” lift, 37” tires and roof rack literally barely fits in the garage as is (have 3 inches to play with) that thing wouldn’t even fit in my entire driveway and probably have some Karen in the HOA trying to get me evicted!! It’s a BEAST!! I bet $100k on top of the truck’s price easy….

Just minor stuff. For example, Undercover bed cover, Tufskinz custom door sill protectors, and TRD air filters.
I checked mine and didn’t see any wires hanging out. I don’t believe a factory tech would do that either.

Well shit. '23 colors are out and Lunar Rock is gone on the Pro. Put a deposit on a Lunar TRD PRO last September and never got one. One year! On the plus side MGM is always a good color.

Damn that was fast and surprising as Lunar Rock is a very popular color. Wow, I also wanted my 2022 in that color but never came in. Guess Solar Octane will be bumped to my fav color now….

Just wondered if anyone out there has seen the grill shutters work. I can’t find anything in the owners manual about them. For example, what temperature is needed before they close?

Ok I searched but couldn't find a thread on it, I know I've seen it posted. When backing up a trailer, how do I get the brakes from locking up? Frustrating when the dash lights up "BRAKE" and everything comes comes to a screeching halt. Thanks in advance

Okay, I'm assuming this is a boat trailer (or a trailer with SURGE brakes) and it's the trailer's brakes locking when in reverse we're talking about? This is common and it's the trailer's fault. Those brakes are activated when that sliding piece behind where the hitch attaches to the truck compresses (or gets closer to the tow vehicle). I bet you were either backing too aggressively and/or backing up a slight incline? Either way, the solution is to temporarily lock that slide in the forward position. Some trailers have a little rotary dial you turn, some have a little metal "key" you pop in for backing but with many of them you just find a way to lock it. The safety pin sometimes goes into a second hole that you would see when it's in the normal, non-braking position. Any way you can jury rig it will work but make sure you undo it before you start towing on the road or else you'll have NO trailer brakes.

It's the button with the cone on it left of the steering wheel. You have to actuate it every time. It resets when you turn the truck off. Same thing happened to me.

Yeah its surge hydraulic brakes, and I understand them for the most part as I have replaced them a few times, not my first decade of towing boats. What I am saying is the the truck would lock up its brakes not allowing me to reverse, uphill or level or down hill. Very annoying to be moving back and then tires lock up on the truck. I think @TWade answered it in the post above, thank you

There is a button on the left of the steering wheel, on dash down low - in that group - on the far right top row, I believe is the ignore trailer and don't lock up button.

Yup thank you much! Luckily there wasn't a line at the ramp, oh could you imagine the embarrassment with a crowd looking on as the truck locks up. Oh the humanity

Question about a/c Compressor. The owners manual states turning the system off will give ambient or warm air. When you do that, there is no fan. When turning the fan on only, it appears the a/c Compressor will run (no a/c light) because the air is cold out the vents. It was 74 degrees and the air coming out of the vents was not ambient by any stretch. Does the a/c come on with the fan? I just want to blow outside air.
