I know that folks have posted similar "tests". This is my personal "test" on my Tundra 4x4 Crew Cab. Mind you I have Cooper Discovery AT3 XLT (295/70/18) on Fuel rims and I have the Westcott spacer lift. I do have a Diamondback SE installed on the bed.

Driving characteristics: Local/around town, stop and go, a few 50-60 mile r/t highway trips sprinkled throughout the drive. Drive mode: Normal. No A/C on. Occasional hard acceleration, flat to hilly terrain down here in Olympia and where I live. No payload in the truck save for myself.

Decided to drive the truck until the info center told me I had 13 miles until empty on the dash. Trip odometer showed 463.6 miles driven.

Computer indicated my mileage was 16.2 MPG

    Pump showed 28.04 gallons pumped.

Factoring a mileage correction from stock tires to the Coopers of 5% more miles, total miles driven was 486.6 miles (5% of 463.6 = around 23 miles).

    Corrected mileage is 17.3 MPG.

Fuel "Left in the Tank" = 4.16 gallons (32.2 gallons - 28.04 gallons pumped)

Theoretical miles I still could have driven until completely empty = 71.9 miles....OR the computer is off by 58 miles or so "until empty" per the message on the dash.

Just thought folks would find this as interesting as I did.

Washington state....if it gets to around 80-85 I just open the windows.....above 85 I will run the A/C. In all honesty I probably did run the A/C a few times, but for only 20-30 miles or so....hardly any impact.

I did something similar this weekend and got a calculated 19.7 mpg with about 1000 miles of mostly highway, cruise set at 79. Bone stock Limited w/o TRD. The biggest surprise was that I don't have a 32 gal tank. I thought all Tundras have a 32, but I dug out the manual and it says 22.5 or 32. I guess it's because I have a doublecab?

That is a great MPG. With my larger tires and slight lift I am not going to expect anything better than 17.5 around town. When I do road trips (over 500 + miles) I was getting close to 19 uncorrected. Max speed 75 mph, no a/c. But I also have over 8500 miles on the truck.

Same! I was certain I had a 32 until the first time I filled it up fully. Crewmax here
