Who knows the equivalent of tundras.com for the forester? High traffic and good experience/info. Gf’s 19’ forester needs new tires so I’m gonna lift it and need to do research. Reading around SubaruForester.org but I’m not impressed. Guess I’m spoiled with this place!

i've installed a few subaru lifts. the cars actually respond to them pretty well.. and they can surprisingly go pretty far

Whelp, history repeated itself again. Our second girl was a week early for her c section and this new baby came 2 weeks early after a bit of unsuspecting bleeding but water didn’t break. 2 girls and this boy completes the kids but we were gonna be done at 3 anyways. Here’s to a few more years of no sleep!

When fresh, less than 4-6 weeks old, they make a hell of a solid beer. I really appreciate their stouts and porters too.

Psuedo Sue (purple T-Rex) is one of my main go-to IPAs, it's a little dryer than the King Sue but it's hard to beat the flavor. Between Toppling Goliath and Bearded Iris out of TN, I don't drink much else these days. Tunnel Vision is really close to Psuedo Sue, maybe a hair more sweetness.

How bad is the rust on that shock tower? Is the idle high because it's cold? Sounds like it's running a couple hundred RPM above what I'd expect.

Hand sanitizer works great to easily remove pine sap. And it's generally paint safe. Looks like he still has some on the center of the hood. Just squirt a blob onto the sap and work it in with your finger, wipe away or hose off the residue. It literally melts away the sap.

If you like mezcal, venture into the world of sotol. Desert Door (blue bottle) is a good entry point.

Traditional crickets are great with a spritz of lime and salt. If you eat a handful blindfolded, it's hard to distinguish the taste from shrimp. Crickets and shrimp are related.

Rust is minor. Need to scuff and paint. High idle is due to tune. The tune needs refinement and for that, the car will end up on a dyno hopefully soon

Yes. We were done at 3 no matter boy or girl. I have two brothers with 3 boys and many male cousins to carry the name so I wasn’t worried.

 

This was our hot take also. No more than 3. We ended up with 2 across 3 attempts. 2nd attempt went silent (no heartbeat) at around 16 weeks, but her body didn't reject, which would've ultimately killed my wife (sepsis, etc.) if any of the draconian laws some states are pushing existed at the time. Sobering thought.

Having 2 ended up being a good number for us, but I kinda wish we'd have had more time for 3. With 3 kids, the parents are outnumbered, and that wasn't lost on me
