Bought a mower. My gf's craftsman locked up and had a LOT of silver in the oil.

 

I think the honda has 2 governor spring holes, low speed if you mow ever week, high speed if you wanna vacuum dust and use it as a brush hog.

that dual blade setup is pretty nice.

Any smart electricians in here? Trying to hookup my katzkins heated seat elements but not sure what pins I need to connect to and they write I saw on here just confused me more haha.

heating element should wire into this plug since my truck already has the oem switches and relay installed.
On the other side of this plug when the heated seat switch is on:
low pin 4 is 12v hot.
High pin 5 is 12v hot

if each element only has 2 wires does it really matter which is hot or ground since I assume it’s just completing the circuit?

 

They don’t give you a part number for the connector or pin out diagram?

Success with towing, no drama at all, just took it slow on downhills and left plenty of following room for longer slow downs. Wouldn’t want to do it too often or in wet weather.
Moral of story, you can tow 5500# without trailer brakes ;-)

Yeah, got the dude loading to push it forward until there was just enough tongue weight for good traction. Basically stock suspension, newer 4600s and blue sumo springs.

 

Actually holding a touch of rake I believe!

 

I know there was some heavy conflict up there with the truckers striking and whatnot. Does that have anything to do with you transporting with your truck? Just genuine curiosity.

 

No, I live on a small island, shipping them directly to me was like $2500, whereas I could have them shipped to a warehouse on Vancouver Island for $250 and pick them up myself ($70 ferry plus gas and time).

 

@PenderBen but that’s the price for beautiful views, whale watching and mild climate. My son lives in the San Juan Islands. It’s worth it

Definitely worth it, I just try to not leave the island, can usually make do with a trip in once or twice a month.

Thanks, I was more specific about condition than colour ;-) when shopping, but was very pleased to find this one in jade green, came with a matched canopy too. It was a one owner commuter truck, so kinda high miles but that didn’t scare me, somewhere around 380k km, well maintained at the dealer it’s whole life.

The load is a little over 700 sq/ft of rubber play tiles, I’m overhauling the play yard for the local preschool; school starts Tuesday, nothing like cutting it close, but the tiles were backordered.

 

Well, I guess we can picture what you’re doing this weekend. Sounds like a worthwhile project and great you got those “just in time”.

It's great, but no real views - it's across the road from my grandfathers farm - that lot is exciting to me and way bigger. But if you want to own a piece of Canada in the forest, by all means.
