So A1 is weird for me. If the steak is good, I won't use it. At the same time, I'll eat it straight out of the bottle for no good reason. I also put a splash in my bloody marys.

I have a few miles on it so I'm going to check my bolt torques. The one place it's hard to miss is when you are in drive and stopped at a light, on the brake. That lowers the rpm just enough to get some good vibration from the engine - in Park, neutral and driving, it's almost undetectable. If there was a way to increase my overall idle by about 50-75 rpm, I would probably lose it there as well.

Things that contribute to my overall noise/vibration or road feel are poly bushings on all control arms, poly steering rack bushings, E rated tires, cut off and down turn exhaust, and soon poly bushings in the leaf spring eyes. I could live without the idle harmonics in drive at a stop, but I like it.

neither mayo nor bbq smell like vinegar to me, and to be completely honest, I didn't even know mayo was made with vinegar, thought it was all whipped lard and grease.

I was in Florida at a Diner and ordered a philly cheesesteak sandwich. when it came I asked for mustard. Record scratch - music stops. Waitress is pretty much yelling at me "mustard on a steak sandwich?!" and the whole place is starin at me like I just screamed 'Hail Satan' in the middle of a church sermon, including the other 11 people I'm with, then some random yells from across the room "must be californian" the whole restaurant -"ohhhh" then all back to normal.
Ranch on pizza is a thing around here. I say keep your ranch and your pineapples off my gawd damn pizza

Not sure, I was a guest. The people I was with were all pretty embarrassed/ashamed. I didn’t give a shit. You know they don’t sell alcohol on sundays over there? And liquor only at grocery stores. The wannabe liquor stores sell beer only, til like 8 pm. Really gotta plan ahead over there

A few years ago I was in the DC area to visit my kid on base. I ran to the grocery store to get some beer for the hotel fridge and after walking around the store for a while and not finding it, I went up to an employee and asked where the liquor section was. They looked at me like I was a complete moron (which may be true anyways). Turns out you could only buy beer and liquor at a liquor store, not a grocery store or even a convenience store, pretty damn stupid.

Hey, I’m just gonna ask here instead of starting a new thread, couldn’t find much info searching either:

How much weight would you guys feel comfortable towing without trailer brakes? I have factory tow package, for what that may be worth, towing a dual axle trailer (unknown weight, but it’s fairly hefty, probably over 1k#), need to move 4100#, not terribly far, but a couple good hills involved. Total weight probably around 5500#

Funny thing was that when she asked me where I was from that I could just buy beer and liquor from any grocery, gas, or convenience store and I told her Arizona, she said something to the effect of "Oh, I bet they let you walk around with a gun on like the wild west". Ah, yes, yes they do.

Not fast, highway limit is like 90kmh (55mph), local limit is 50kmh (32mph). I know it’s within the limits the truck can tow, just not sure about without brakes

I towed about 5k without trailer brakes, no worries. Towed about 9k with a '04 sequoia using the same brakeless trailer.

So, you can but, based on my experience with just my truck loaded down, our brakes aren’t great. If I were needing to do what you need to do, I’d allow waaaaaaaaay more distance in front and have someone that loves me follow behind, basically to prevent anyone else tailgating. Our brakes have hella trouble stopping on a dime, even when not overloaded. Downshift on downhill inclines, instead of braking, keep your speed as low as is safe. Allow way more distance to stop, coming off of freeway ramps. I mean, you’ll know how it’s going a couple of miles in, and can assess how much you need to modify your driving— but it’s not wrong to be cautious with our brakes.

Yeah, I think I’ll just take it real slow, I can pretty much avoid downhill until I’m back on my island, and if it feels dodgy I can unload at that point and do a couple trips, just gotta get back on island.
    Thanks for the advice.

I've got the 2gr in my Lexus ES350. I ditched the mufflers pretty soon after I got it in 2018. They sound pretty decent. Can't complain.

Mine didn't take long at all for the stickers anyway. Still waiting on the shirt. The shirt appears to have tracking info.

Getting rid of the restrictive y pipe on the 2gr really changes the noise. Then obviously this exhaust is very short. Lol
