I guess my 13.50 makes it a little more vulnerable to rub then.

It’s go time..todays the day.. called in a favor and my buddies dealership is slapping things on as we speak… I have a feeling I should have stayed at the shop to inform the tech of all this dirty seven knowledge shared by all you wise wise men.

For sure, still In process. But things are looking beefy! Haven’t heard any peeps from the techs, but my buddy owns the dealership so I’m sure they’d let him know if they had issues.

Update, tech called when writing this post, they obviously didn’t listen to me when I was telling them about the body mount… their afraid to cut it… smh… look like I get to play w my grinder later today.

so they parked it back out front w the stock limited wheels w the 275/55/20 tires (which are on their last leg )back on… I’m embarrassed just thinking about it. Lol

Few photos that my buddy took while he peeked in to check on his techs.

37's are definitely going on my truck when these 35's wear out. Ive got about 33,000 miles on them and i figure theres another year left in them.
They actually look small on my truck now. 37's should be just about perfect.

Currently on Icon Stage 8 w/ Billet UCAs, Supercharged, bumper + winch and skid plates from nose to ass, BMC done. Looking to add the 1" coachbuilder up front and 1.5" shackle out back to put 37s under her and when these shocks have a little more wear and tear I will swap to Icons 3.0s. With the supercharger I have stayed stock gearing but know I should regear for 37s, I will be towing about 8500lbs with airbags, daystar cradles, and WDH starting in spring and debating between 4.88s and 5.29s. The truck will be going to ProSpeed for the full bolt-on kit which should make about 550whp. My fear is running 4k RPMs at 80mph on the freeway lol

On the list! Going to be adding a SxS to the fleet so that will become the main offroad rig and the Tundra will just be there for recovery if needed. Debating pulling the bed and putting a Pcor tray and 1/2 box on it

Chopped the inside of the bumper end caps, cab mount, and hammered the pinch weld about 10 inches up to the first inner plastic rivet holding in the fender liner. I cut ever 3 inches or so so the pinch weld hammered easier. Haven’t welded in the cmc plate yet. Took it in a few test drives and I thought I was still rubbing on the front bumper end caps…. Nope! It was the skid plate! I knew that was an issue, but forgot to look at it when I was looking for potential rub spots. Chopped about 2.5 inches off the skid plate tabs, lickity-split. Quick poops now then a test drive. Ohh and mine fits in the 7 ft garage because I only went 2.75 inch lift, the preset for my bilstein 8112s, but might lower it down to 2.25 which is the minimum for this coilovers.

Will be removing the sway bar because they seem to be in disagreement with the 37s.. lol

I’m sure I’ll have more grinder updates too. Will do a more thoughtful post when i weld the plates and reinstall the front fender liner to the new hole I drilled in the bumper end caps.

Check all your nuts and bolts if a shop does your installation. There was a small rattling in the rear right side of the truck... though it was brake line brackets.. crawled under there and saw there was no nut on the bolt of my lower shock mount.. drove to lowes, checked the forum in the parking lot for nut/bolt spec, and grabbed me M12-1.25 nut and washer... that was the culprit. knew I knew should have installed it myself... probably going to check the torque on everything!!!!!!!

Lightest one I’ve seen is the Milestar Patagonia MT. It’s 72 pounds.

5.29 all day. I’m in the process of throwing my 35’s on my wife’s Jeep and getting the Tundra some 37’s. I have 5.29’s on the 35’s and I’m not sure that I even hit 3k rpm at 80.

    Really nice truck btw.

I don’t have any personal experience with them. A few guys I know have used them, and all liked them.

I’ve seen reports of weak side walls on those milestars, the only downside I could find everyone seems to love them besides that

So, one of the guys I know who had them, had them on his 3/4 ton Ram. They were 35x12.5x20s. He is a railroad contractor who puts some serious miles on his truck, to the tune of 50k plus per year. So, lots of highway miles, but also lots of rough, off camber terrain on railroad property, which usually has rail spikes and other random debris that can puncture tires. Not that one example is definitive, but I would have thought a D rated tire would not perform well on such a heavy truck.

These have been on my short list for next tire purchase because of the good combo of weight, price, and apparent quality. But ultimately, I think with Nitto's new 37x11.5R17 Recon size, I think I'm going to go with those...

Its one of the least expensive too right? If i didn't find a good set of used tires on the cheap these were one of my options

Barring something that requires immediate tire replacement, at the rate I put miles on my truck I still probably have two years left on my current ones. While I'm ready for a change, I am NOT ready to fork over nearly $3,000.

So i did a 6" lift on my 20 TRD Pro and got 37" tires wrapped on a 20" wheel. Its been about a year and half and maybe 20K miles later and I have alot of squeaks and creaks when I'm driving at low speeds to include alot of creaks when i turn the wheel at low speeds or people get in and out of the truck. My PRO isnt old by any means and it still only has 43K miles on it so in my mind to be having issues like this seems weird. After reading online alot of the creaks and squeaks are because I need to grease certain locations in my suspension. Any know where? Or anyone have recommendations on what the culprit is? I have a 45K mile service coming in a few months but i HIGHLY doubt Yota will be of any help since its lifted so high and besides that when they lifted it im pretty sure that voided part of my warranty.

So, I don’t have a 6” lift and don’t know what components comprise it, but when I replaced the leaf spring shackles on my truck, the new poly bushings squeaked like a son of a gun. It was very annoying, but fixed with some graphite lube spray.
