    Pro Tip: find ways to link your tundra purchases to the things the wife likes. For me it’s easy cause we love camping and towing our travel trailer goes hand in hand with tundra parts. My latest purchases were Solid motor mounts and an LSD for the rear…. I’m eliminating supposed weak failure points in the driveline to increase the reliability when towing our camper far from home. They don’t know how true that is unless they research it themselves. In this case I’m not lying, just exaggerating the likelihood of these parts failing.

    You have got to go with a secondary account for mod orders. Ship items to your work and then install when shes not home or install them at another location. I install some things at my sons house. Then the most important step is to never admit anything is new, ever! Tires, bed cover, bumper step; whenever she finally notices it my standard answer is that "I got that a while ago". She seems far less concerned when she doesn't know where it came from, what it cost and its already on the truck.

    My "better half" keeps me grounded but that is not a bad thing.... the 1st Toyota pick-up purchase was made to "Teach her how to wheel" :rolleyes: back when we actually had locking hubs and standard transmissions :anonymous: Next "project" , my 1st Peterbilt cost more than our house :eek2::D

    Lol! Got the system down huh? Me too. Even though she doesn't pay for any of my mods I get the look or the occasional question "Where'd you get that?" I almost always buy on a deal or sale and will buy used from someone if it's quality and priced right. She knows that so we're always copasetic.
