What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Curious what deflectors you went with? Thinking of swapping out my low profile ones.

My meeting for work was canceled and rather than drive 2.5 hours back up to the project I decided to come home, 10 minutes away. It worked out well as I was able to take my truck up to get inspected and emissions done for the year. Came home and washed and detailed the truck, installed the Tuffskinz radio decal and steering wheel emblem overlay from Amazon. Pretty productive day.

 

I was looking at these exact ones, do you have to order the "ultimate kit" for full coverage? Or does the $399 shield cover it all?

 

Paid her off a couple months ago...Currently living overseas and shipping parts back home filling up my moms garage until I get back to her.

 

Ultimate kit. It includes the extensions. I bought the heavier plates, too.

Replaced hvac blower. OE unit shat out with 49.9K on the odo and did not allow for disassembly for cleaning with completely destroying it. Import Direct unit improves on all of these aspects and also offers much better scfm output. Boring but relevant!

 

Do you get much wind noise when driving from the roof rack?

had the same thing a couple of weeks ago. A/c fan motor started making a racket at 32k. Replaced under warranty.

 

How do you like it? I already gave the OEM Plus system with two subs but my door speakers are still lacking. I was thinking about adding this to bring them up in the mix.

 

I do plan on adding a leaf to the OME pack eventually. I plan to carry a lot more gear on our trips as the family grows.

 

Cheap, shitty little unit. I guess they passed the savings on to us. I would’ve loved to use my warranty but O’Reilly’s had one on the shelf and I didn’t feel like waiting a week for an appointment for a 20 minute service that would take a dealership all day.

I stuck one of those steering wheel overlays on the other day as well.

 

Even took the bed sticker off.

 

Sprayed some color matched plastidip on my @FrenchToasty flag mounts and installed color matched mirror caps from sparks.

@IsaiahCanada - I broke two of the tabs on the drivers side cover getting it off. Did you just want the handles?

I installed the license plate light Disable In Reverse harness. Nice and easy to do. Definitely helps with the glare.

Had to run it thew it's paces last weekend! Full load of firewood in the bed and a loaded down 5x10 trailer with 0 squat thanks to firestone air bags! The 5.7 didn't skip a beat!

Between the Rack, Tent, Hi lift, waterport, rotopax, decked drawers(fully loaded). My constant load is 800-900 on the rear. The truck sits completely level and rides well. Would likely be stiffer with some rake if I took all the gear out/off. We travel with two dogs,fridge, bikes, clothes, etc. Only noticed a little sag when I was towing my jet ski and completely loaded down for a 10-day trip.

Note that I have the large back seat removed

There are bigger/better options, but not for the money in my not-so-humble opinion.
