Not as much vacuum before the MAF. Always vacuum after the MAF.

It went really well, took about 2hrs with John from OTT.

Yes, luckily the roads around me is empty at night, you get like one car an hr, it started to rain so I couldn't do full 1/4 mile pull.

Buy HPtuner box, mpvi2 , or have a saint like Toby aka snivilous who lent me his unit since there's a nation wide backorder.

I set a time with John to do flash and catalog, so download hptuner , open the scanner part and provide him a stock file, then he provides a base tune, which requires the hptuner vcm editor to flash, once flash, use vcm scanner (all part of hptuner) which is like this virtual cluster that has all the input, record your driving, and then save the file and email to John, he then adjust and sent another one back, there was 4 iterations and I just drive around like normal and some wot pulls.

John was able to remove my 1st gear issue, it pulls very strong and I can spin all 4 tires when launch with brake boost.

I'll aim to record a 0-60 time tomorrow with racelogic, it was dark and satellite signal was poor due to cloud when we were done.

Hey guys, I have a 2020 TRD PRO and wanting to get the Magnusson SC kit. I keep on reading conflicting info as to availability for 2020 +. I was told there are no tunes supporting superchargers on 2020+ models. Can someone clear this up for me? Pick of my truck below.

Do it. HP Tuners has cracked the code for 19-21 non flex fuel. I don’t think they’ve cracked the transmission yet, but I’m sure you could reach out to confirm. If you’ve got flex fuel, look elsewhere.

So Magnusson doesn't provide the tune and you have to get it from HP Tuners?

HPTuners gives you the piece to open up your ECU the program so to speak then you have to find a place or someone to write the tune/ do the tune for your truck.

There's different ways to tune than HPTuners. The current Magnusons I believe use VF Tuner which covers all 5.7 tundras. Which is also how YotaWerx (few posts up) tunes. You'll receive a "base" supercharger tune with the Magnuson.

This is how I did it with ProSpeed. We went back and forth through 12-13 revisions before finally calling it nailed. They told me they actually prefer street tuning to dyno tuning for these setups.

Ive heard similar things from other people. A street tune is real world, versus a dyno with consistency. Like transmission tuning for driveability can't really be done on a dyno.

For the transmission side of it they said it HAD to be on the street to be accurate.

I was only able to get 2 quick runs in this morning on the way to the dump (didn't break any speed limit!), launch in 4hi, came to a full stop then just hammer the throttle, truck weights 7050lbs with me in it and garbage.

I was kinda hoping for quicker than that, I need the roads to quiet down and do proper brake torque launch, if you convert that to 0-60, that's equivalent of 6.09 , I recall the rule of thumb is (0-100kmh time)*0.95

Well, there's also which method you wanna test it, magazines omit 0.2s roll out time, I also think if we can have higher stall in the torque converter it'll help a lot, 2400rpm stall will probably make it rip at launch.
