Toytec Aluma 2.0 front and rear, Toytec shackles, Toytec add a leaf pack, Tuff Country UCA’s, Firestone bags with daystar cups. JBA long tubes, w/3” cats, Dirty Deeds TRD replacement, DAP tune, AFE filter
All of this is shipping today.

Spent last night finishing welding the aluminum front skid plates with my powder coater friend and I have 5 sets at powder coat today. Steel front skid plates are getting welded likely tonight and they will be off to powder coat aswell.

I am pushing out a lot of plates this week. Currently trying to get out 3/16 steel this morning

@Classy63 no issues or noise at all with the 2wd vertical plate. Noone has mentioned it yet that I recall but I did give the holes a quick spray with high heat paint once they were drilled.

I ordered a set Of a 1/4 inch aluminum bare for my 21 TRD pro two days ago. I work at a dealership in in the area and thefts seem to be on the rise. Dirtbags hit our wholesale lot couple weeks back and was chatting with the police. These guys are making their way around dealerships, commuter lots even hitting cars at the mall. . I patiently await my order Order: R124817668. And thank you Tyler for the quick response!:thumbsup:QUOTE="G*MAN, post: 2874405, member: 70218"]Tyler any updates on shipping my order?[/QUOTE]

I am having 2 of each thickness and material 4x4 rear cat plates made in this batch. Once these go out and I make sure they work (I really doubt there will be any issues) I will put it as an option on the website

Put the stock skid plate out of its misery yesterday with the installation of the Valhalla plate. Now I'm covered from soup to nuts. Don't think I'm going to go with any fuel tank shielding just yet though. @Classy63 's stuff is pretty nice. I appreciate the little touches like the cut out so the swingaway door for oil changes has the notches so as not to interfere with the cutout "Valhalla" design in the skid plate itself. Very cool.

Very nice. I can’t afford all at once so I started with the skid plate. Looking like 8 weeks to get, which kinda sucks, but I totally understand and am fine with in supporting a local business. Hope to order the rest early next year.

Same here, and don't feel bad. A couple days before Tyler told me that my plates were ready for pickup (I am like 20 mins from him) I chanced on a young couple not far from Tyler (!) that the dude traded his 18/19 Tundra for a, get this, 16 F150... (each to its own I guess) and was selling some parts, so I picked up a TRD front skid from him, and back then, I only took on the front and back cat cover from Tyler, but later on I was like, meh, I want a whole set, so of course, that was another goodness know how long wait, but in the end I was happy with the set as well as the vertical plate that protects the backside, too.
If I were you, front and back cat plate is a first must, front skid is very optional, but can come later. Vertical plate is more a good to have, especially if you are 2WD.

Well… I was welding my last aluminum skid plate this morning and my garage started on fire… I was able to get it out by myself, and I am fine except for some minor burns to the feet. My spool gun and welding helmet aren’t doing so good. I am going to clean up today, check everything over and hook my machine up for steel again. I will have to figure out how to weld the rest of the aluminum…

It hurts more that it happened, I can replace equipment, but just sucks… I will be shipping plates again tomorrow.

I had some packing stuff never to it. Some paper and plastic, I am assuming it lit up. I was welding and I felt alotta heat, I wanted to finish the weld, (probably could have made it not so bad if I had stopped).

I'm happy that you are ok! That is the most important part. Luckily you didn't suffer significant property loss either. How bad are the burns to your feet? Close call!

Burns aren’t bad at all. I have have worse from welding. Well, spool gun is pretty much trash, I am beyond lucky my welding helmet some how is ok, I replaced the front lens and slapped some tape on it and it is good to go again. I am going to order a new shell but this will work on the mean time

Well, I have completed checking my equipment, welding machine was switched over to steel and besides a melted gas line, it worked great (I fixed the gas line). Spool gun is cosmetic, it needs a new shell, trigger and feed hose. All easy I am so surprised that it wasn’t worse. I lost some moving blankets, my FR apron I made out of a FR one piece suit and a few buckets and an plastic crate. Some stuff is still stuck to the floor, but it will come up eventually. I have a bit of a smokers cough, (gee I wonder why) but I will be fine.

I’m glad your ok man. I have an extra helmet you can have if you want and need and I actually may still have an extra spool feed system that you are also welcome to to keep you going man. I no longer do any welding since the injury to my hand a few years back when I used to help out my step dad I. His body shop. Just let me know man if you’re interested and I can run them by. By the way this is your friendly Asian Social worker.

If it is a Hobart or Miller, I 100% would take that off your hands. My helmet is good enough for now, I already ordered a replacement shell

Whoa - I’ve seen the effects of welding-related shop fires gone unnoticed for too long by the solo welder working blind under the hood - it ain’t pretty. Glad you noticed and got it under control before things got much hairier. You probably keep your combustibles well away from your welding space.
