OR..... you could just pay a pro with experience that knows what they're doing

This is a lot harder than you would think. The company I use to work for had a hallway by the loading dock that was epoxied by a reputable company and that shit would flake off all the time. They would have to scrape and redo it every 8-12 months.
On the other hand, I know a contractor that swears by expoxy like if it's Red Hot, he puts that shit on everything. He does really good work.

I explored that option. The first quote I got was for $10,000. I laughed. The next quote was $3,500. It's a big garage so it won't be cheap. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I'll keep researching it.

Easier option. Rent a shot blaster, vacuum up all the dust, and put down your choice of coating.

What a waste of time. Couldn't get them on the phone, just redirected to file online.

I'm glad I didn't lose any money; I'd be pissed otherwise.

Talking about scams, I'm helping someone find an apartment and it looks like one out of every three craigslist listings is bogus. Pics raped from mortgage sites and reposted as rentals for cheap money.

I think most of Craigslist is a scam these days. Surprised it's still around to be honest.

Yeah, I've learned to just skip the ones priced too low. That and hit "group duplicates" to reduce the spam.

Honestly trying to buy/sell on Facebook Marketplace is just as bad. The amount of bullshit one has to endure in order to make a transaction is insane.

I bought my ninja from FB. It wasn't too bad. But, there is a bunch of BS on there too. Blatantly obvious scams.

It’s kind of a shame since Craigslist used to be the best place many years ago to find a 1/2 decent apartment offered by a single owner/couple which was affordable if you looked around.

If shits “flaking off all the time” then I’d have to say the “reputable company” was over-rated and didn’t know what they were doing. Or maybe they DID know what they were doing…. maintaining job security with your company. You should’ve referred your contractor buddy to do the hallway at your old company. I bet it would’ve lasted much longer

Good point, another great option. If there’s an existing coating or sealer this is definitely the way to go.

Facial-book is good for keepin in touch with people you don’t really want to talk to, or stayin up to date with old friends you don’t talk to often. You can also see who’s marrying who, who’s having kids, moving out of the area, and sad to say, I’ve learned of quite a few friends deaths from facial-book. Also promoting businesses or upcoming shows for musicians. All the big brother stuff, collecting your info sucks. Myspacial was cool for the music features. I’d like to see a cage match between Tom from myspacial and Zuckerbooger from Facialbook. Celebrity death match

you just need to epoxy the floor before you put down the Swiss Trax. (So easy to spend other people's money & time.)

I'm not sure how often they rehab that epoxy at home depot or lowes, but it seems like they just clean it.

Sometimes I think I just ain't doing things the right way. I was close to death on at least 2 occasions and I didn't get shit except a reminder that I have to get back to work

I've had a couple. But all I got out of those what "holy shit". Now getting older (than many of you guys) changes a lot.

Loosing someone very close to you has a similar effect. I had a 5 year run where I lost 7. After I sobered up, my view of the world and life was completely different

I just got a China cabinet off C'list this weekend. Successful transaction. Been trying to get Mom's from her for 10 years, scored it's identical twin on the list. Got it's issues, but so does the Marketplace of the faces.

You could also look into just having it polished. Still won't be cheap but it's a permanent one and done.

I'm all in for the "celebrity" cage match with those two. Facebook is like the news, mostly depressing or makes you angry. Best bet is to have a close facebook follower that can filter and tell you the interesting stuff.
