There’s PPF there. Looks just slightly bubbled like it’s stating to peel or not adhere

Mine is full of bubbles along all the edges too. Makes me wonder how long before I have to peel it all off

Attention to detail just does not seem to be there perhaps all manufaucturers are also suffering.

Would probably need to remove and reapply the ppf film. The dealership should be able to handle that for you.

My 2012 has a similar texture for a few inches above the rocker panel. I believe it is by design as it is like bed liner material with color matching paint to provide protection from rocks and other road hazards.

Do not believe there is ppf in that area. I think it is just an anti -chip coating applied before paint. I do not think you could apply ppf over a textured surface like that. if there is ppf there than not surprised to see bubbling. (I have been known to be wrong before tho)

TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
It’s a texture applied to the rocker panels. It’s been on all generations as far as I can remember.
I’ve owned each generation at it’s been on my past 3 generations.

It is a PPF. Had the same issue on 1794 Blueprint. Had it removed when I had ceramic coating applied.

Not talking about the texture. Talking about the clear film on top.

That is the PPF applied over the texture. It does not appear to adhere well to the texture. I had mine removed, much nicer without it, especially on a darker color paint.
