Welcome to Cocktails & Dreams. For Tundra enthusiasts and part time or social drinkers..
post a cocktail recipe, picture or info about the drinks

    The Last Word
    1. 1oz Part Gin
    2. 1oz Part Green Chartruese - herby palntish liquor aquired taste
    3. 1oz Part Luxardo - Marachino cherry liquor
    4. 1oz Part Lime Juice
This is definitely a prohibition era drink that was very popular and lost its way.. very popular the last few years since the Classic cocktail scene is in fire now..
You can use 3/4 oz of the luxardo.. make it a little less sweet..
Shake all ingredients in a mixing glass and tin, into a martini glass.. Garnish with Lime wheel
    Enjoy :proposetoast:

One of my favorites, the ever popular and official cocktail of the Wisconsin supper club scene....the Whiskey Old Fashioned
1 orange slice, a cherry, sugar cube, splash of Grenadine, and Bitters. Muddle in a highball glass, add ice, Whiskey and your choice of 7up or 50/50. Garnish with a couple of olives and enjoy

Every now and then I like a good whiskey sour...
    2oz bourbon
    1 oz lemon juice
    1 tsp simple syrup
    Dash of orange bitters
    1 raw egg white
Shake the crap out of it and serve over ice or in a chilled glass. One of my favorite drinks. You can leave out the egg white but I like the foam on the top

You just use the egg white, never used that before. Work doesn't allow me to have an egg behind the bars . I put lemon juice in my whiskey sours also... gives it a nice taste...

Yeah I just use the white. Sometimes after 3 or 4 of them the whole egg ends up in there but I just go with it haha.

I love bloody Mary's. I sometimes will use bourbon. I also recommend cucumber vodka in them. Very tasty

I am a gin and tonic man. I specifically like Beefeaters gin and diet Schweppes tonic. Add extra lime. There's something about having the diet tonic that makes this drink very clean tasting and refreshing. I typically like 2 to 3 limes slices. My uncle got me going on this when I was 26 and it's been my go to since. I've also gotten a few friends that now prefer this drink. Mmmm
