Thankfully we have like 8 guys in rotation, so it’s not terrible; unless I volunteer to cover someone else’s shift.

Have you seen an arb on a 1st gen, or maybe any gen; it sticks out further than bubbas lip!!!!! But I also understand that’s crash crumple BS that the aussies require. But when I get it, of course I’ll mod it and maybe strengthen up the side wings, I see that as a vulnerable area, the side wings on my coastal diy year were kinda flimsy with what they provided, so I added more bracing to the frame mount plates to the wing

 

If you've got the skills and the tools then that's a solid plan. It also makes it your own. Definitely let us know how it plays out.

 

For sure, I’ve got some skills and tools, but I’ll definitely have my buddy do the welding. I also don’t like where the light tabs are mounted, so I’ll ask for those shipped loose. Oh and no hoop, definitely no hoop

 

Aww... the hoop makes it look so good though! Plus, it's deer protection, or Chupacabra protection for your area.

If you've got a buddy that welds then your options are only limited by how much you are willing to strain the friendship!

If I did one, I’d do a little lower profile and maybe functional for chupacabras for maximum penetration.
We do trade outs so it’s nice, I installed and run duct for his big ass work shop(4ton unit) then a few years later ran gas line up and onto the roof to the unit. He helped me final weld my rear, haha made it look like childs play

 

Sometimes that's all you get. Just gotta muscle through.

Outside watering the plants and already not looking forward to working tomorrow. Been a casual day so far. Last week of summer break for my kids so the chaos will ramp up a notch next week

 

I can't imagine dealing with teachers these days. Kids are amazing, but man the struggle.

 

That quick turnaround would kill me. I'd have to get paid a shit ton more than I am now to give up my schedule.

I work this Friday-Sunday dayshift then I'm back Tuesday night for 3.

I never work more than 4 days in a row unless OT is involved, the fifth week in my rotation I'm off.
I know, confusing AF.

 

Sounds like my brother's schedule. He likes not working more than 4 days as he has kids and such, but without a family to worry about the 7 on 7 off is perfect for me.

 

Yeah, I wouldn't mind your schedule. My wife would though!
