I just installed my amp steps on my tundra, and unlike my buddies GMC which had the plug and play OBD kit that came with his, my kit was left to doing some electrical work.
I tapped all correct wires, as ive verified with other members. but included pics anyways.
All doors work except the drivers door, and today i went ahead and installed the override switch, that works aswell too. I do have a compustar aftermarket auto start on this vehicle though. I bought the truck a few weeks back and it already had the auto start, idk if it is factory and the previous owner wanted longer range remote etc? or if it was all aftermarket installed after he purchased the vehicle? But either way, I dont know if thats affecting this somehow? I dont see how it would, but i wanted to mention it. I also tried my buddies controller box, we checked pin numbers before trying it, they matched so i felt safe plugging his in, it all operated the same as with mine, so its clearly not the electronic box. The youtube install i followed had the same problem but his ended up working randomly later after he pulled the fuse and put it back in... Ive tried all that.
Im at a loss, can anyone help?

I had that problem when I stalled my AMPs on my 2014.
Make sure whatever you are using to tap into OEM wiring is making a good connection.
I used positaps and the OEM wires are so thin, it wasn't making a decent connection.
Over time I've had the passenger doors stop working.
It was the same thing, I just had to reconnect it making a good contact.

All this time I was messing with the wrong wire, I had the white (driver rear) one, but needed to mess with the blue (driver front) one. I took the postitap off and back on to reseed. Then it worked fine. Hopefully this thread will help someone in the future. Thanks mate!
