Let me begin by saying I'm a novice at best when it comes to understanding most automotive issues...I can change oil/brakes/pads and even refill the windshield washer fluid. I got ballsy and decided to change the transmission fluid- only the fluid on my 2014 1794 Platinum Tundra with TRD package. Everything seemed fine for about a month of limited driving. Slowly the shifting from park to reverse became jerky and then the same thing from reverse to drive. Then while on the highway all shifting/accelerating became delayed- gas pedal engaged, rpms increasing but no shift, then what seemed like quick shifts from 3rd-5th. made it home, shut it down and let it cool. came back and checked codes- P0894 and P2714. Interwebs said changed fluid. so I changed the fluid AND the filter this time. followed youtube's videos on checking/adjusting the fluid levels. Started her up and still wont shift into reverse. I can put in reverse but the truck just sits there giving me the finger. ANY AND ALL HELP would be greatly appreciated. Also, don't assume I know anything more than the information I have provided. I understand there may be solenoids I'll have to replace but I need detailed guidance from people with similar experience- websites, downloads etc. Thanks

    Managed to solve it?
I have exactly the same issue but no CEL. 2012 5.7L rcsb.
Found the harness that goes in the output speed sensor broken.
Anyone have the part no. for that harness?

My 2010 had the same symptoms and I had a CEL for solonoid D. Toyota just replaced the transmission under warranty instead of trying to diagnose it.

Thanks for the help and inputs, unfortunately my tundra is no longer under warranty and I'm gonna take it to a local transmission tech and hope they can repair and not replace....

Yeah Toyotas answer to everything is to replace it. Hopefully a good transmission shop can fix it. They put a reman in mine and it never ran right.
