I'm going to play devil's advocate here... but the second one looks like it might be trying to make fun of civic drivers who have godawful massive spoilers despite everything else being stock and have never raced anything other than maybe their chevroLegs in Track & Field when they peaked in high school.

 

Agreed. They even glued it on backwards for full effect. I know we’ve all seen several installed bass-ackwards.

 

I love that they took the time to chrome delete the "Civic" but not the "Ex". That's next level lazy bones. Must have only bought .25oz of plastidip.

 

But the chrome "EX" ties in with the chrome "H" for the Honda logo

 

I like it but I hate it all at the same time. Its like the new age version of a VW buggy...... ok. I guess I approve....

I personally took the picture in Tempe where Salem Boys Auto is located. It is Alan Salem's truck. He is one of Mark Salem's sons and runs the pickup truck performance side of the business.

 

Are the Salems anyone important outside of the car sales business?

 

They are auto repair and have been in Tempe a really long time. Mark Salem has had a TV show on the local channel 3 and a call-in radio show on Saturday mornings. His shop does very good work and tends to be on the higher labor rate side.

We have a local character auto sales place that I thought was super local and super shady(premier auto sales, Scott laimen)
When I was traveling a lot, thru New Mexico, I heard the same exact radio shtick, but with different peoples voices, i like our local raspy smokers commercial better!

 

God, I hate that fucker. Every time one of his commercials comes on the radio I feel like driving to his dealership to see if he is there so I can kick his ass.

I'd respect him so much more if he was just honest and his commercials went something like this:

Are you a worthless piece of shit with no money and a horrible credit score, but you want a newer car? Well no problem, come to Premier Auto where we will sell a way overpriced piece of crap car to anybody, and we mean anybody.
Yes, the car will probably be a salvage or flood vehicle worth 1/20 of what we will charge you and the interest rate will be so high that Cheech and Chong wouldn't believe how high it is. But, we will say yes to you, and you know damn well that no legitimate car dealer will so we are the only chance your worthless ass has to get a car (at least until we repo it from your non-paying ass and resell it to another idiot).

 

I wish he was more honest!
