I try to employ the "give a man a fish / teach a man to fish" mentality at work but then people try to act like I'm not a team player for not letting them waste my time with questions they can answer on their own.

 

Nothing better than getting up at 5:30 on a Saturday because the kid refused to eat her dinner the night before.

 

That sucks. I got forced out of my own bed last night cause both kiddos came in our bed. I slept like shit in the kiddos bed but at least they are all still asleep.

 

Sometimes that's worth it. It's amazing how good a mood I'm in when my wife and kids are too.

Oof… The Diamondback didn’t help the truck’s waistline. Right at 6,640 with just me, my gear and a full tank of gas.

Sitting in a random parking lot doing the math and waiting for the dealerships to open. There’s a line of people waiting to get into the Dollar Store. Do people really need cheap plastic chit this early in the morning?

The Diamondback, a box full of tools, 3/16 steel skid and cat shield, 285/60/20 Coopers, a bit of this, that, and the other, topped off with my fat ass - - I feel your pain, and have sub-14mpg fuel consumption, but have no regrets...

RV report. The dealerships are full of inventory. Quality is still suffering. I looked at one Keystone and told the salesman the trailer shouldn’t have left the factory. Wiring was just dangling lose and cabinet doors wouldn’t close.

Walked through 8+ trailers and all had design quirks or similar that bugged me. Some I can ignore, other’s not so much. Going to look at a few other brands next week but think this effort isn’t worth my time.

 

Do like we did and buy a trailer built a few years ago that's been taken care of. Cost us half of what the new ones are going for.

 

But then who would we have to resolve our electrical issues

 

We've done this at home more than a few times.... It is strangely addictive!

 

That's why I'm happy about the laughing rolling head dude!!! I typically use a scale of 1-5 rolling heads on how much something made me laugh.

I'm still pissed off that I can't like my own posts though (same scale)

 

Yeah, that’s possible. The dealership with one of the trailers that I could get behind has two 2022 rentals they are about sell. A barely used rig for $5k+ less is an interesting proposition
