For awhile ive been wanting the go rhino rb20s. In photos Ive always thought they looked incredible. I finally ordered a set. When i removed the factory black boards i actually really liked the look of not having any running boards. But the boards can help prevent rock chips, debris from hitting side of truck to an extent right? So i went on and installed the rb20 and in person im not as much of a fan. Not sure if i wanna pull em off and just go without boards for awhile or stick with em and maybe ill get used to them. They just stick out so far for one thing. I dunno. Anyone else dislike em at first but them adjust to them?

    You got pics?

And they make an RB20 slim. That might work better for your taste.

I understand your sentiment OP. Functionality they work great but I hate the way they look (all makes/models). The best looking one’s I found for myself was the aluminum OEM boards. They are at least acceptable IMHO. They kinda a sorta look like a slider. Haven’t see a aftermarket option that I really liked in person. Internet photos are much different than the real thing…

I didnt like how the front portion flared out more (by design) so I installed the side steps on the opposite sides and I'm happy with it. Personally, I rather have a slight flare at the rear than the front.

However, when my kids get a bit older I do plan to get some real sliders on.

Overall I'm happy with them. They definitely do their job to help stop large debris and rocks from flying up and scratching the sides if the truck. Also, they provide extra security when parking at Costco or wherever else. I wear a size 15 shoe so the large platform is definitely very nice. It also makes it a breeze for our little dog to get in and out of the car. Last but not least, they make an awesome bench to sit on when you have nowhere else to sit or are just too lazy to sit somewhere else.

Excellent, I really like you swapped the tapered design direction around, I was wondering if that was possible. Go Rhino is having a 25% sale and I think I'll order these now.
