I just joined a football forum and apparently you can flag posts for being off topic there. Can you imagine how busy the mods would be in the FGT section if we implemented that here?

I might be up for it. Last time I played I got consumed by it though.

But if you want to start a league, go for it. I played for about five years and got bored…

 

I'm the commissioner of the one we have going at work. I'm not running 2 of them.

 

I know zilch about football. Dominated a friends league with some hard core football nerds for three years to the point every bailed. Then I commish’d a family league and got schooled. One family member started getting cocky and wanted to put money into play so I folded the team. Funny chit

 

I don't follow it as close as some of the hardcore guys, but do follow it enough to be competitive. I enjoy it just for the shit talking that goes down at work. Keeps it fun!

This day...... I texted the guy I work with to see if the day has gone smooth or if I needed to brace. He said it's been completely quiet. I was super happy with this as I had woke up early and wasn't feeling particularly rested. Told him my brain is pretty dead, so a quiet night is just what the doctor ordered.

Fast forward an hour and a half to me walking in the door and he says "Oh, buddy. You jinxed yourself so hard."



Everything is on fire. It's broken, and it's a cascading issue that has gotten worse over the last hour. FML.

Sorry...I just finished 3 days of being the only person in my group working. The other two dudes are out on vaca. Yesterday was a dumpster fire but I had about 6 hours today of freedom and helpful people. It was Twilight Zone crazy good.

On a separate note, I'm driving my son to his SAT test tomorrow and have 3+ hours to kill. So since RV row is about 2 miles away, I'm going to kick tires.
