Is there a list of all Toyota parts that also lists were the part is manufactured?

 

Probably best for our tender sensibilities that we don't see that list.

 

I would be very surprised if this list exists outside of Toyota.
However, we do know the dollar value as a percentage of the total truck value of the parts manufactured in the US as they are required to report this on the window sticker. If I recall correctly this is north of 80%.

Things that I do know:
- The engine, transmission, transfer case, axles, chassis, suspension, body, and most of the interior are US.
- The TRD off-road wheels are from China
- The Michelin tires are from the US

Toyota is very committed to making vehicles where they will be used.
On another note, have you heard about what they do when production is down for one reason or another?
They do not lay off their workers, they put them to work building Habitat houses with full pay and benefits.

I did not know that about the Habitat houses. Yet another reason to be proud of your Tundra!
