would you perhaps be so kind to take a side view photo of this so i can see how far back the light sticks out?, i am assuming you have it placed in the correct / best fitting spot of it

 

Just pushed it in as far as it would go is all. So it was up against the front.

2 things. Just making sure you guys saw raves kit for marker lights. And the dude who instantly started selling Brums 3D cam mount plans is advertising with one of my pics - just think if you’re selling something you should produce your own pics

 

Anyone been able to measure or compare lumen output of trd lightbar vs the 20-22” aftermarket options that would fit in the same spot? I want as much illumination as possible for highway driving. Trd bar looks better but the winner for me is whichever can throw the most light

 

I can tell you this you don’t want the oem if you want true light output. Get a rigid or other quality option.

 

Agreed. Have the OEM light bar and it doesn’t even begin to compare with a LED light bar from Rigid, BD, heretic, etc. Fits nicely into the grille though

 

The OEM isn’t even in the same league as an aftermarket light bar.
It’s a glorified fog light.

 

ill go ahead and blast his name...myerswoodshop, the guy that posted the video, and is selling someone else's design and selling on his Etsy, clearly didn't mention or give credit and called it "my". That's pure kaka specially since you're saying he is using your picture...bruh

 

Yep here’s my pic I’ll try and add it’s details…. I sent them to Brums so he could do a final rendering of the mount. Here’s the pic he got off me lol. I didn’t add a location ….. but it’s mine

you can see the date on it he was not able to sell that mount before that date(I don’t think I screen shot my own pic to forward to anyone)…. Or when we I sent it to Brums which is in our PM’s here

oh just noticed it was my pic…. It has 4 not 2 slots for the t6 screws…. Brums and I discussed this and he made the change plus the slots got smaller…. You can see how far my screws go down into the slots

I don’t care but I expect sellers to represent items they sell to be their own with proven fitment…. At least on a product like this

Also anyone who watches that video above there are 5 not 4 bolts you should remove from the fender liner area. At least on my platinum.

This really takes away any undue stress when removing in that area. And I think Brums said it above. Fender liner does not go on outside.

My ali lightbar came in after 2 weeks and of course it’s cracked…

 

that really sucks, hopefully they will send you a replacement fairly quickly

 

I got mine with the markers and did not use them. Too much of a hassle
To figure out how to actually install them and quite honestly it did not seem like it was going to fit property without some serious modifications

 

Does the light bar bolt up fine?

 

nope will get you some pics in the week but the mounts are too close to the light

 

Has anyone found an empty spot in the fuse box under the hood to tap into for the RAVE marker lights? I just saw the email that mine shipped yesterday.

 

Don't be fooled. Mine "shipped" but all they did was print the label. Placed an order 8/12 and another 8/15....8/12 order "shipped" 8/20 and 8/15 order "shipped" 8/17. Both USPS tracking numbers show "pre-shipment info sent to usps, usps awaiting item"

 

The mounts are terrible. Way too close to the light. You can also tell this is some cheaply made light bar. It has some sort of glue residue all on the edges.
