    Hi all!

I am looking to (finally) upgrade the wheels on my Black '16 Tundra Platinum.

I would like some black rims, I really like the stock TRD rims, but having trouble finding something that will fit my truck.

    Any recommendations are welcome,

    Thank you!

If you like the trd wheels and also like black rims , maybe try to aim for the trd pro wheels?
There are two versions. The 2019-2021 is the newer version, and the pre 2019 is the older version. Assuming that you like the trd version of the 2016, you’ll probably want the pre 2019 since those are identical just that it’s painted in black.

    Thank you!

Will those fit the '16 Tundra "out of the box"?

I have been looking online for deals on these, I have found multiple options, that to me look the same. Anyone have an idea what the difference would be?

    PT9603420002 (MSRP $610) (5 - 150, 18", 8")
    https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota__...Black-Alloy-Wheels/91139516/PT9603420002.html

    PT9603419002 (MSRP $811.40) (5 - 150, 18", 8")
    https://parts.toyota.com/p/75455724/PT9603419002.html

EDIT: I think maybe this site has the differences listed, but it also states that it fits the Tundra, except the platinum?: https://www.sparksparts.com/oem-par...black-trd-pro-forged-alloy-wheel-pt9603420002

This wheel is very similar to two other wheels that Toyota makes. Here are those part numbers and their description:

    • PT960-34190-02 - Gloss/Semi Gloss Black with PRO and BBS-Forged Embossed in Brushed Aluminum
    • PT960-34200-02 - Matte Black With TRD and BBS-Forged Embossed in All Black
    • PT960-34190-F2 - Matte Black With PRO and BSS-Forged Embossed in Brushed Aluminum

They are all the same just the color changes and some have the Pro or BBS stamping on the lip. I have no idea why they listed as not fitting the Platinum, all tundra are the same only the options change.

I think they list they don’t fit platinum because the original wheel size for those are 20” but like pursuit2550 said, all tundras fit those rims, so you don’t have to worry about fitment issues.

the only time where you might have fitment issue is when you go too aggressive of tire upsizing.

Here’s another option - TSS wheels. There are several variations of TSS wheels, depending on the year.

All the TSS wheels are made by Ultra Wheels. The only difference is the center caps don't have the logo on them, they Ultra.

I've got TSS wheels for sale. They're kinda beat, but they're cheap.

I finally was able to make a decision, and after the comment that TSS are (now) rebranded Ultra Wheels, I ended up getting some Ultra Hunter Blacks. I think they look bad ass!

I am contemplating getting some of the TSS center caps, bot overall, this looks soooo much better. Thanks again for all the help!
