I need to wire it up.
I got started last weekend, and that turned into a full on electrical planning session


Which was promptly followed with realizing I needed to get some end terminals and heavy gage wiring to connect things.

Then I realized I neglected the two 40A independent feeds to the twin air compressor…

So then I started to look at options for that and decided to bag the breakers and go to a Blue Sea Safety Hub 150 distribution unit and run the Switch Pro, compressor, and JBL Amp all through the high-amp side of that.

Then I remembered Switch Pro doesn’t recommend using a terminal block, so I decided to use OEM watertight connectors for all of those circuits (I’ll do 4 wires per connector, and plug the ones I don’t use yet with rubber plugs until I add something to each one).

So, $300 later in parts and a heavy gage crimper, I’m waiting on Bezos’ minions to deliver everything so I can continue.

Yeah...here's another one to make you feel old. A friend and I were talking about Top Gun, what a classic it is and the travesty it is that his kids haven't seen it yet. His 17 year old daughter chimed that she hasn't watched many movies from the late 1900's...

Oh yeah, and that Metallica album came out a year before I was born.

 

I was 15 and rocking an acid wash Levi jean jacket with enamel pins on it. One of which said, "Wine Me, Dine Me, 69 Me." That was also around the time my parents gave up on me.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I may have had the jean jacket and pin when I was 12 or 13. It's all lost in a haze of hair metal and hair spray...
