Need help with ordering PRO speed sensor extension bracket

I have a 21 limited and bought the fox pro suspension and wheels from a somewhat local guy. I know I need the speed sensor bracket extension but everywhere I call wants a vin number from a pro so they can order it. They say that’s it’s a manually released part and the vin needs to show the part for replacement. Even my local dealer says the same thing.
I think I have a few options,
1. Use someone else’s pro vin to order, if someone is willing to help out.
Would using a PRO vin from a used truck for sale work? What is Toyota confirming? Will they care the vin I’m giving them d doesn’t match my name or address?
2. Have someone trace their extension bracket and mail me the template so I can make one myself
3. Just wing making the extension based on the pictures I have.

Any other options or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thay make aftermarket brackets or do what I did and make one yourself. Piece of metal/aluminum, drill 2 holes and done.

 

Any links to the aftermarket brackets. I’m not afraid to wing it if needed.

 

Also have you tried just buying it on line. I just checked and it was letting me check out without a vin.

 

Basically we use this kit when we raise the rear of the truck. It’s an extension bracket for the abs line and brake line. This is one of the many kits available. Or make it yourself like I did.

I am working right now. But I pretty much did what you saw on the website I sent you. It’s just a simple bracket to extend the lines.

Thanks, did you also extend the brake lines too? Is the brake line extension needed if I’m just adding the rear pro shocks

 

Not sure. I take it the pro rear shocks have more travel. So if your extending the abs line only makes sense to me to also do the brake line. My truck is an SR5. I did a Bilstein 6112/5160 set up. 2.7 in in the front and 1.5 in the back. I needed to extend my lines.

 

Here you go. Nothing fancy. Obviously I could have spent more time trimming and blah, blah, blah but it’s just a bracket.

Not from Sparks parts. Just order it. I ordered the Pro Suspension from them with the bracket for my Platinum. No one ever asked if I had a pro. I just added the stuff to my basket and checked out. It was seamless.

 

Good to know. Since I’ll also need a brake line bracket extension, I think it makes sense to order either the ARB or the coach builder kit or just make my own.
Glad I asked the questions because I didn’t realize I needed the brake line bracket extension too.

 

Will I need anything else besides the suspension and these brackets extensions?

Not sure if any are better than the others but I think they all are overpriced.

Could someone confirm the dimensions on their brackets please? I should be able to make these very easily and find to bolts laying around. The center to center of the holes for each bracket should suffice. I know I’m probably overthinking this, but that’s what I do.

That depends on how much of a lift you want. If your buying the pro shocks you will get 2" of lift out of the front and about 1/2" by just adding the shocks. When I added the shocks I added one Coachbuilder .25" spacer on each front coil over for 2.5" of front lift and I did Coachbuilder plus 1" rear shackles in the back. Hope this helps. Running 35’s, don’t know what you mean by extension brackets??

 

The extension brackets We’ve been discussing in this post for the speed sensor and brake lines on the rear.

 

Unless that is a new restriction to manage supply/demand, I ordered one a month or two ago with no issues. 2019 SR5 here.

 

No idea, maybe it just depends on how much the dealer wants to help.

 

Will I need to calibrate the TSS or adjust the headlights down when adding the PRO suspension?

 

Depends. Some people, like me have had no issues with the TSS system. I did a 2.7in in the front and 1.5in in the back. There have been some that have issues although I haven't heard of too many that I recall. Headlights could be adjusted a bit or use the interior headlight level dial.
