So been shopping for a battery with the exact specs as original, CCA 710, Reserve Capacity 165, Group 27F. Found these near me, Advance Auto Diehard Silver 2 yr warranty and AutoZone Duralast Gold 3 year warranty..... Napa has one but Reserve Capacity 120..Thinking of the AZ 3 year warranty...

Damn, this reminds me to look for batteries for my truck. 6 years and going strong but I don't want to push my limits either.

Around here the heat kills a battery.

I spend so much time at isolated boat ramps that I just go on ahead and replace the battery every 2 years. (And move the old battery to some of my tractors). I also always carry a jump pack that has also saved my butt both in my boat and in my truck.

Batteries Plus No. Auto Zone Yes, which is on my list.
I keep jump packs handy also, truck and boat...because hey you never know..

Same here. I got home from work and backed up to the boat. Changed cloths and went out to start the truck. Battery completely dead. Turned out to be a dead cell. I bought one from Auto Zone. 3 years and still strong. I might just replace at 4 for piece of mind.

Mine just went at 6.5 years .. thankfully I squeezed more time out of it with the jump pack and long-ish commute because batteries plus was a mess .. got the x2 power 24F at first, was supposed to be in stock, wasn’t, ordered, the wrong one came in, so a one day turn around turned into 2.5 weeks .. can’t overnight ship these things either, has to be ground, learned that.

Ultimately the guy at the store made good .. I bought the 24F on tax free day here in Mass and he upgraded me to the 27F for the same cost as I originally spent for the hassle.

Also learned that at Costco you have to order the battery at the store in person. Won’t take orders online or over phone. I don’t understand why for that.

I ended up getting a NAPA 24F Legend Premium, 3 yr warranty, CCA 725, Reserve 120 min..
