I’m getting ready to jump from a Cooper STT pro MT 295/70r18 to TOYO Open Country AT3 37x12.5r18. I’m doing a CMC/BMC. I’m currently on a 3” lift. What to expect? Suggestions?

    Too many mods to come

Probably some rubbing lol. Front bumper, fender liner, mud flaps, bmc etc. Wheel backspacing will be a factor. This is just a small portion of what to expect to address.

here you go. Info for everything from 2 inches to 9 inches of lift. Mid to long travel. Wheel backspacing specs etc. a big part of if they “fit” is how you use your truck. Fitting for the street will be very different than fitting for full flex.

mud flaps are already gone. CMC/BMC should eliminate rubbing. Also folding back pinch welds and adding custom fab plate.

I just went to 6112/5160 combo with the front on the top setting and coach builder shims and 3" shackles in the rear. I went with SPC UCAs up front and BMC to clear 35" Falken ATs on Fuel 17" rims with +8 offset. Turned out great, but will probably move up to 37"s in the future. Good luck.

I had rub with 35s on a 6" lift until I got some bumper shims. They push your front bumper out 1/2" and now I have my turning radius back

Bmc will not eliminate all rubbing. You will be rubbing all over your front bumper , and the pinch weld too. Bmc is a small part of it. What do you mean by custom fab plates? Also will likely rub sway bar as well if you're keeping it. Will likely need new ucas as well if you haven't already

the custom fabricated plate was welded over the pinch welds. The bumper was trimmed, no rubbing at all on bumper. The only area that is rubbing is the sway bar.

Here it is folks! To say that I’m pleased with the outcome would be an understatement! Work done: BMC, pinch welds hammered back with custom plate welded over for clean look and no jagged metal exposed, front bumper trimmed up to mounting brackets. Eventually I will be replacing the stock bumper. There is some rubbing on the sway bar which is not a huge concern of mine as it is not hurting the tires or sway bar.
