Which light bars did you use? Are they really bright?

I had to cut out two vertical pieces from the grill where the light bars are. They were exactly the right size for me to drill two holes in the side of the grill and screw directly into the light bar. I didn’t have to use any mounts it came with. I can get better photos if you would like.

here are the light bars I got.

I hear some guys have a problem with the hood bulge lights and the bulge not staying on properly after installing the light bar. Not sure if specific brands are worst than others. But I think it's a good use of space because it's not functional.

I’m using a 41” Nilight single row for my hood bulge, abs a 30” Chelhead single row amber for my lower grille valence.

The amber could be better in certain conditions, but they’re fantastic when you turn off your whites. The white LED is pretty damn bright.

Only issue I’ve had with the amber is that it’s a plastic piece in front of the LED, so I’ve experienced some condensation. Wouldn’t have happened if I opened it up and added silicone.

Yes you do... I'm just about there too I just can't decide which one to buy and won't pay 1k for a light bar of any kind.

People bash on the Amazon light bars all the time, but I’ve had good experiences with them. I’m not out using them often, and when I’ve needed them they’ve always worked. They do what I need them to do, so that’s good enough for me.

I absolutely agree. I have this one in my cart currently

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019XS8BKK/?coliid=IA296NAHBSQ92&colid=3I99APEZVSRG2

I would open it up and apply sealant on every edge before installing it though.
