Chrome Delete Covers for Tundra Bumpers - BumperShellz

Thanks! A lot of members here like them. When I have a moment I'll pull up some threads where we are recommended. As for how they hold up in salt and snow, the painted parts will hold up just as well as your truck's paint. Proper maintenance is key to longevity. Our Non-Painted parts need a less TLC, of course, because they aren't painted.

The only thing we have painted is the Cement Gray. Super White, Magnetic Gray, Silver Sky and Attitude Black are all non-painted! We hope to have Army Green or Barcelona Red soon, but we need to put out a feeler post.

 

I was more worried about salt getting behind/between the cover and the chrome bumper and rusting the bumper. But Cement Gray would be the color I’m looking for, so I’m glad you guys have those right now.

 

The good news is that BumperShellz aren't "sealed" so the salt should fall out. If you have knicks or dents in your chrome bumper already, they'll still rust. This product won't prevent that, it's just good for covering them up. But water flows through in the rain/snow, so you won't have a bunch of salty water just chilling in there.

2022? Not yet. We just moved into our new manufacturing facility today. Got our OG CNC machine and OG Thermoformer running (we have to set up 2 more Thermo/Vacuum formers and one more CNC to be running at 100%)

I have a 2016 black tundra. I believe the paint code is 202.

 

Our Gloss Black material matches 202!

You won't be able to purchase Cement Gray from SuperBee simply because it would be a nightmare for SuperBee, us, and most importantly you, the customer. We have one painter, and he's also running our truck modding shop.

 

He wasn't asking for cement.

We charge very similar rates when shipping to Canada as we do with the US (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). For example, a box that's 40x14x15 ships for about $47 USD to Alberta(from our facility in California). What he's actually asking for would only cost $55 USD to Manitoba.

So if I needed to have radiant red done I’d need tk get the paintable and have a local paint/body shop paint them for me correct?

 

Sorry for the late reply, but yes. If you don't want to wait for us to come up with an economical solution for the Radiant Red (do we paint it ourselves or source the colored plastic) then buying the Paintable ABS and taking it to a shop is the way to go. We use Paintable ABS when painting our Cement Gray and soon our Army Green, so you'll be getting the same materials we use!
Side Note: finding a color solution could take a few months.

 

If anyone is wondering how the bumper end caps hold up to hitting a deer @ 80kph, here is mine from yesterday. The OEM grille/surround did not hold up as well. Initial impact was directly on the fog light area.

I don't see any visible damage to the BumperShellz end cap.

 

Love to see our products holding up against the elements! That's awesome!! Well, uhh, not for the deer...
