Hi guys, I just hot a 05 Tundra stepside and the bed is in really rough shape so I found a
2002 Toyota Tundra 6.5 ft bed and I'm wondering if it will work?

Beds are cab specific on these trucks. So as long as the donor truck has the same cab setup as yours does, then it will work. For example, if you have an AccessCab with the stepside bed, then you need the bed from another AC truck.

FWIW, The AC and DC beds are not super far off dimensionally speaking, but I really don't know how far off the bed mounts would be if you tried to use one in place of the other.... (maybe someone has looked into this more and has specifics, surely its been talked about before somewhere....) The RegCab bed is much longer at ~8ft.

I really don't think they exist in anything but the AC.... just was covering all the bases, so-to-speak...
