Would you send me this same info?
Just purchased an 2021 1794 Toyota Certified but interested in extending the bumper to bumper warranty and maybe buying prepaid maintenance.

    Quick question.

Can we DIY the oil change and tire rotation and other maintenance and still keep 10yr extended warranty? Will dealer have coverage denied or warranty voided if they can't find any maintenance records in their system?

Was told by my dealer that it’s no problem doing DIY oil changes, filter changes, tire rotations, etc.

My concern with the maintenance plans is that it covers oil and rotation but I haven’t seen anything about covering the majors like other fluids, spark plugs, and brakes.

probably due that all the other fluids and items are long term replacements. 60k miles or 5yrs. which are usually outside the terms of the maint. plans.

i am still on my oem brake pads, spark plugs, brake fluid @ 89k miles on my 14 limited 4runner.

last year i replaced all 3 diff fluids and cooling system chemical flush and refill.
